Oh the irony!

FOS panzer
for that nice bit of flip-flop.

I'm not really feeling the Al4xz wagoning without reason bit... wasn't the reason pretty obvious?

Bear with me here. I got booted off the site yesterday AGAIN. If its too much of a problem, I'll request replacement since I'll kick MYSELF off mafiascum.net.

Wait, isn't this coming from the same person who said:
Claims move games
I'm a little confused here.
1) Panzer said 'claims move games.'
2) Panzer said he doesn't want to claim.
3) Panzer said he's a townie.
Battle Mage wrote:i HONESTLY think he is protown. Lynch him if you want, but i certainly wont be helping. When he comes as an important role, we all suffer, and you will be next for the lynch.

This post made by BM is rubbing me the wrong way. Wifoming a little, I don't think scum would make defending this obvious, but then again, this isn't something I see a townie doing (ie, defending without any reason whatsoever.)

I buy his explanation about the seeming contradiction. I didn't know that the claim moves games statement had come from a newbie game. In any case, it's not panzer who should claim, it's Al4xz.

I tend to not make notes of page 1 and 2 stuff, because it's random voting and introductions etc unless there's a specific scum voting pattern. Sorry.

Yos: When I'm really vanilla townie, I claim vanilla townie. Generally that leads to me getting lynched if I've been scummy enough. Isn't it better that way than for me to lie? I'm referring to the lynch all liars bit.

Other than what Yos said about claiming, which I've read, understood, and agree with, I don't understand anything else. I think there's something scummy about joking about claims, especially since I've seen it leading to the real power role outing himself.

Whatever Twito said yesterday comes from the viewpoint of a vanilla townie, since he hasn't made an invesitgation.

Well, it's fine to say we want discussion and we shouldn't lynch panzer, but look at what panzer has defended himself with. Says Akbar misrepresented him, says he wishes he could delete all his posts, says he backed himself into a corner yadayada.

I don't like the cases for anyone that hinge on their position on the panzer wagon. The way I see it, panzer was so scummy yesterday, it's his fault he got lynched. I do not blame anyone for pushing panzer, nor the panzer-hammarer. Seriously speaking, I myself would have put the hammer if I was able, because panzer acted way too scummy.

I can also see a vote for Fircoal because of the soft-claim, but I want him to respond first.

I do not buy the excuse for livinggod not checking in. Wouldn't a pro-town naturally check in games where he's falling under suspicion? It seems to me like livinggod is thinking of excuses to get himself off the hook...

m4yhem: that is one really interesting bit of interaction between you and fircoal. I'm not too sure what to think of the fact that you pushed Fircoal for an answer, he didn't give you one, and you said you were satisfied. It seems to me like m4yhem was trying to poke around to out a possible power role.

Also, you're voting milkman for a lack of content when many other people are doing the same.

I haven't really gotten this game together, but I'm sure that some scum were on yesterday's lynch, given the speed at which it built up.

I'd especially like Akbar to explain how he came up with his list of who's what alignment.

My opinion: I believe scum would prefer to kill off the other scum group. I don't think we should even bother speculating about this though, since I don't think scum knows the alignment of people. (to theopor: and why are you assuming that scum-yos/m4yhem would know scum-m4yhem/yos's alignment?)

Regarding the lack of double kills, I think it's unlikely that scum targeted the same person. Reason being the people who were night-killed were not that high profile, and I don't really see a definite reason why they were killed. So to go by probability, I'd say it's unlikely that both groups of scum targeted the same person. I believe the cross-kill ability or the doc ability worked somehow.

I don't think Yos is scum. This is because I haven't seen a scum-tell from him. Unless I've gotten this wrong, the case against him is his attack on m4yhem, yes? I think m4yhem is possibly scummy, together with the rest on the various wagons. So I don't see anything wrong with Yos going after m4yhem.

I'm leaning towards BM scum too, for vague reasons which I will put down very soon.

Well played yos. I must admit I didn't suspect that at all. I see no reason for m4yhem to lie, since I've already stated that I believe scum would try to target the other scum.

thoepor: The thing is it doesn't matter whether m4yhem is borg or whether m4yhem is alien. Both sets are scum. And I can't see any reason for m4yhem to lie about this (why would a townie claim scum?), so it's likely m4yhem and Yos are in opposing scum groups.

unvote, vote m4yhem
Lynch -1 guys.

I still don't see the necessity for us to try to predict who is of which scum group since lynching scum is good. And I don't think we have enough information to do a successful prediction.

I also do not believe mafia is a stats game, so I disagree with the running of stats part. However, I am voting m4yhem instead of Yos purely because I have decided that it's safer to lynch the claimed scum. This is in the light of reading the Yos might not be scummy posts.

Seriously speaking, I like to lynch claimed scum... To heck with the numbers. Reason being people can manipulate numbers anyway (like I see some people have been doing), and we should not rely on scum to cross-kill.

Sigh. What's this fascination with numbers?

There's so many ways I can see this turning out, so I'm not going to try to hazard a guess. The odds of each scenario happening are small due to the sheer number of possible scenarios.

I'm seriously starting to doubt Skruffs and his 'SV is smart' thing. Someone recently accused this behaviour of being 'fawning', which leads to the fawnee subtly misleading the fawner.
