From what I can remember the town were a shambles first three or four days - Al4, Panzer and Livingod didnt help themselves. Especially considering Livingod's power role and the fact he jailed N9V and didnt mention it. That was pretty poor play in my opinion especially when he was babbling on regard to Panzer. Getting lucky with the cops didnt half help, I can remember my feelings when we killed the Aliens cop night one!

Otherwise I think both scums kept low profile was pretty funny to get to about night 4 without a scum dead. BM I was certain was scum basically for his play regarding M4yhem and then N9V, you got to take them blinkers off BM. SV we only discussed as scum late on and it was 50/50 between her and Jalyn last night so hats off to SV, for looking so blatant Borg lol. Thanks to my scum partners Yos, Milk and Skruffs and of course thanks to Kelly for a top game, glad I replaced in!

Talking a bit in chat about this, a thing or two I wondered.

Is it true that the reason the Aliens tried to kill Fircoal a second time is that they believed he was Borg? That's the obvious explanation, but it came up so I'll ask.

Also, curious about SV's decision to kill Jalyn? I was surprised by it myself. Curious about SV's other top suspects there.

At the time, I thought M4yhem's post-scum-claim speculation about who might be Borg was highly damaging to his side, since none of them were Borg, and taking M4yhem as sincere the Borg could correctly guess that none of them were Alien:

I think Jalyn might be scum with Yos, because she tried to get my bandwagon moving without actually having the guts to vote for me; spectrumvoid and Akbar are possibilities too, for the same reason. My gut tells me BM is town.

At least he did put SV in there.

The Aliens knocking off milkman instead of Yos was pretty sweet.

I'm not familiar with the Miriam role. But, if your looking to improve Newt's effectiveness, how about mod posting when Newt finds a townie so Newt doesn't have to role claim. It would definately increase Newt's willingness to venture out. Would this be too powerful?

I'm not wild about the idea of making the Newt's findings public.

The way Miriam worked was like a normal hider. Her advantage over Newt was that she was unnk if she hid with town. But her disadvantage was that if she hid with town

that got NKed

she would die also.

So Jalyn hiding with Fircoal would've been fatal if she'd been Miriam rather than Newt.

Gotchya. After I posted I thought even though it would help town to prevent mislynch, it would probably reduce cross kills by scum, because they'd be encouraged to NK the confirmed townie. So probably bad idea.

Well, it depends on what point of the game it is, Akbar; sure, the scum want to kill a confimred innocent, but in most situations in this kind of game they're much more worried about killing each other, so they might avoid killing the townie for a while.
