I don't understand why that makes a difference. If you want to try to explain it, I'd like to understand. (Also, I've done the same thing while thinking along the same lines as Parama -- I have liked some of your more recent posts but they don't outweigh your earlier scumminess in my mind. Parama has been fluttering on the edge for me a lot this game because something has felt 'off' and I'm too flustered/lazy/bad to go and put an ACTUAL case together, but I have felt it in my bones for a while now.

It makes a difference because I said so. No, really. I said you're scum. I have stuck to that and have not seen any evidence to the contrary. I still believe you are scum. Thus, my read has not changed. That is still a fluid read, it is just one that has maintained throughout the game.

Conversely, what Parama exhibited was NOT a fluid read. It was openly acknowledging that my recent posts were town/good/whatever, but the read is too staunch to be moved. (I also have reservations about the actual reasons behind anyone wanting to lynch me).

Why do people think I'm scum/want to lynch me? It just has become such a commonplace thing that people can go, "I want to lynch Reck" and nobody questions it. I honestly cannot remember why anyone wants to lynch me outside of Gamma, whose reasons were shit anyway.

The post was not meant to be taken quote-by-quote, but as a whole just to demonstrate this point. Each post on its own is not inherently bad, but it takes up the majority of his early-game ISO.

The legitimacy of the tells themself aside, this does nothing to change that the vast majority of the post you quoted as evidence were either taken out of context for the tell you were applying to work, context you later quoted was flat out ignored to apply the tell, or was just incorrect. The whole is irrelevant if what you're saying about the quotes to justify the whole is nonsense. If you're really interested in discussing your read and not just securing my lynch then you can actually explain your problems with even one of the quotes you pulled out without distorting it or dismissing it off hand.

i'll be around for a while so i'm not going to actually vote bulge right now. don't feel like he's acting particularly like scum either but quil's early play didn't really exist and quil being legitimately frustrated with the game arguments being retarded despite being scum seems possible although not very likely

Is this still because of the claim? The bulge stuff on NM actually seems pretty bad to me and actually makes me want to lynch him more over NM. Also interesting that Quil and NM really didn't interact all that much (at least not in a way that was noteworthy enough to remember) and then Bulge comes out of the gate pretty much only talking about him, but without more flips I'm not sure it's interesting!scummy and not just interesting.

@Gamma: What bins said, but also I tend to give people town points for pointing out something I agree with before I've stated it under the logic that if I'm town and notice or think something, I know it's coming from a town mindset, so if someone else is thinking the same way it makes me think they're also more likely to be town. And this is something that has happened a lot with Parama and not just in the QT (although I usually won't point it out because it's kind of silly to be pointing at things constantly and going, "hey, another reason why this guy is town!" cuz the point of the game is to scumhunt, not point out who's town).

I'm rambling, but anyway yeah, that.
