I'm Town 1-Shot Vanillaiser, so shitty negative utility 'PR', I have no intention of using my shot outside of maybe confirming my role pre-lylo which even then is relatively pointless as it does nothing to confirm my alignment. The role only works within rooms, which perhaps counter intuitively makes me feel better about Grib's claim, as if he were fakeclaiming he'd go with what we were all assuming.
Also, what is NM doing? Worst play I’ve ever seen.

Hmm. I believe the role but I have a hard time believing the role + the alignment. I guess it could be truly town if scum have powerful roles, but we haven't seen any indication that that's the case since there hasn't even been a nightkill and all we know is that scum have a roleblock if Reck turns out to be telling the truth... and all the other claims have been weak. Scum Vanillizer makes more sense to me.
Bins, are you around? What do you think of the claim?
if scum have a roleblock that goes through doors then it's a pretty good town role.
conversely if NM was scum and in a room with Reck, why would Reck still even have his role? I mean. Not a confirmable thing like a kill, and eliminates the issue entirely instead of only delaying it one night, /and/ we wouldn't know whether or not it goes through doors if he didn't claim it. hmm.
NM's claim makes me happy because the chances of there actually being a Roleblocker just spiked from "uhh I'm not sure I buy that?" to "thank you Jesus, Reck might actually be town, now we can all calm down."
I have definitely seen more town Vanillaisers than scum ones.

@Grib: Oh. I don't think I've ever seen it and it sounds like a scum role to me, but if someone else can confirm that then that's one less reason to think the claim is scum.

I should mention that I've only seen town Vanillaisers on IRC. So. Never mind?
I still don't think it's a scum role. One-shot makes it seem more town, since we have the disadvantage of the RB obviously not claiming. Whereas a scum Vanillaiser would be guaranteed to get a few town claims after a Day or so.
