Um, could you elaborate? You're saying that there should be 6 games at once, yes? Why does tier 2 have two games and what's the difference between tier 3 and 4 if they're on the same level? Also if someone wins in tier 2, do they go to tier 1 or do they have to play a second game at tier 2?

Also I don't know if this solution addresses the other issue of stagnation, does it?

He's suggesting eight games at once:
Champ, T1, T2a, T2b, T3a, T3b, T3c, T3d.
The winner of T1 goes to Champ to face whoever won there last round.
The winners of T2a and T2b go to T1 next round.
T3a and T3b feed into T2a, whilst T3c and T3d feed into T2b.
In other words, you need to win three games to make it to champ: One game in Tier 3, one game in Tier 2, and one game in Tier 1. (Winning in a tier moves you up to the next tier, losing sends you back to the bottom)
Fickle, cold and harsh or caring and warm
Strongly opinionated or barely invested, but a constant
You know the wind will always come back.

Okay, okay, hmmm... I may like this better than even the linear thing. The only thing I'd need at least two more players to be able to run 8 games at once.

Okay so
In my suggestion, losing at the top tier knocks you all the way down to the bottom, not just down one.
I have no problem waiting between games. A lot of games have queues.
There could be a limit put on the Champ. Win 3-5 times in a row before having to start at the bottom?

I've tried watching a couple of episodes on YouTube, and this situation never came up. I think Framm is correct though, and I think that's how I want to run the game... even if it leads to tough breaks.

No. You had to get the word exactly right.
I apologize if certain words are misspelled. My sister got too liberal with liquid drinks near the laptop.

Yeah, that sounds like a fun idea, and structure it the way that JDGA/CD described. If I get two more players, I think we can try that. I think I can run 8 games at once.

People that lose in the lower (non-Champ) tiers go all the way to the bottom, right?

I think I'm going to start a 4th game and once these games are done I'll start a 5th and 6th (tier 2) and then a 7th (tier 1) and then hopefully by the time that ends we'll have enough to run 8 at a time.

Game 4 will be played between Not_Mafia and gamsimbre... let's flip to see which player goes first.

NM = 1
gams = 2

Original Roll String: 1d2
1 2-Sided Dice: (1) = 1
