Of course you can. If Zeb got to L-1, and I said I was looking for a claim, and then someone else stated intent to hammer, Zeb would HAVE to claim. Knowing what I am doing doesn't change the fact he could be about to get lynched.

Do you seriously think I could absolve responsibility of Zeb's lynch had it gone through? It would have been pretty obvious that if Zeb flipped town I would have been prime target the following day. Further, how does me stating I am looking for a claim and not a lynch lead itself to me trying to avoid responsibility?

The reason a claim now is different then a claim in 20 pages' time is that if anyone other than me would die later in the day, it would be 2 claims the scum has to work with. If I claim PR right now, we're all screwed, and if I claim VT it accomplishes nothing for town and reduces scum's lynchpool. This is an acceptable drawback to avoid a PR lynch, but

The push to lynch Zeb wasn't serious enough for a claim because it's way to early in the game and there IS NO THREAT. So you say you want to save 20 pages of nonsense when you're pushing 20 pages of nonsense. If you want to do a push-to-claim move towards the end of the day there is WAAAAAAAY more pressure on the person up for lynch because they know the day is ending and a lynch needs to happen.

Your play is so anti-town and your logic doesn't make any sense to me.

I dislike Zeb's early posting enough to want to get a claim from him.

I'm going to sheep this and join back on the Zebulin Wagon. I totally think this is town BBT, oh, and not only because him and I are lovers. In the Case of the Missing Doctor Pepper game, he started being a major focus and being put near hammer through many days. (we had one of the longest Day 1 of all time too, I believe.) I know meta shouldn't be used, but it feels like the same BBT I know, love, and kind of want to strangle sometimes.
