FYI, just a heads up, I am getting ready to go on a TDY (for a month) for work. This sucks because I hate being away from home/family that long, but you really dont care about that part. Monkey seems town to me. He's grasping, sure, but he seems to genuinely be trying to figure out the game. I disagree with just about every one of his methods and conclusions, but I know he does get lynched a lot as town. He looks like low hanging fruit here.

I feel like you don't need to explain yourself. I felt strongly like I was defending the typical low-hanging fruit town. And anyway if anyone on that wagon was bussing it's probably |||| (and Aeronaut's last vote was weak)

It felt a little odd reading Aeronaut's three scumreads, because they are exactly the same as mine:

- Droog's been on the wrong side of both the Lapsa lynch and the Monkey lynch. Either he is scum, or he is a village idiot. Disappearing for most of Day 3 so far is also kind of scummy, given how he's not exactly Mr. Popularity right now.
- Pacman was voted by Aeronaut and Aneninen yesterday. Aneninen turns up dead, and in his first post today, Pacman expresses support for Droog, and support for Pacman. Pacman then expresses suspicion of llll, and suspicion of Aeronaut (how convenient). Pacman did not care to elaborate in detail on these opinions and allegations. Furthermore, I disagree on every single one of these 4 opinions.
- The quality of Katie's postings are getting worse and worse. Katie finished up Day 2 by defending the Droog and Monkey team, and then casting a Gendaberry vote. I do not like the Gendaberry vote, but at least Katie provided justification for it. Then for Day 3, Katie comes out naked voting Aeronaut with only the obnoxious "thoughts?" posted in place of justification. After a mediocre post in 1049, (and mediocre is certainly an improvement for Katie), Katie's three other posts, chronologically, are a one line incomprehensible insult about short pants, a one line promise of future commentary, and a one line refusal of commentary (due to politeness, of all things! Katie, you're anything

polite). Katie, please try to be less of an asshole, post some fucking content when you post, and stop playing so cavalierly. Pacman's been off my radar for the most part, and having just looked over his ISO, it's pretty easy to see why. He didn't really agitate for any wagons on Day 1, and his Lapsa vote was the hammer. On Day 2, he voted Aneninen for a bit, and then Pacman voted for Monkey, which was a vote Pacman rescinded in his next post.
So yeah, Pacman's kind of like a Droog lite who tries to stay away from the limelight. Not sure which is scummier right now. I really don't want to make a decision before reading more of Droog, and some EPM too. Reading more Katie would also be nice, if she gets around to taking this game seriously.

Also, @Riddleton, reading through that whole clusterfuck with Lapsa and pretending to break the rules, I don't really feel comfortable with that Lapsa not being post-mortem modkilled or something... playing the same game with two different accounts is a serious offence for obvious reasons, and while he was probably joking, I feel like it created a big distraction to actual gameplay based on rules, which really shouldn't have been there. That's just my personal feeling anyway. If everyone else / the listmod is fine with it, then I guess it's whatever.

Maybe time has mellowed my feelings toward Lapsa since I feel far angrier at KatieB and Wake88.

Lapsa, my biggest strength at Mafia—in my own opinion—is twofold. Will and potential, and I daresay the ability to adapt to anything. At times I can be very forceful, and I quite like the mental swordplay that comes about now and again. Also, I tend to watch out for any players that use hyperbole, or take words out of context. Those to me scream of Scumminess, and I'm apt to tear at the throat whenever someone attempts to do so with me in these games. I've caught a few this way. Thorough, analytical reads are another strong weapon in my arsenal. Intense, unceasing curiosity and scrutiny round it out, but this doesn't mean other things are being improved upon as well. If I'm Scum you have to either NK or investigate me; very rarely as Scum do I get lynched; it's been well over a year.

My friend, what do you think are some good things to strive towards within these games of Mafia? Also, how long have you been playing Mafia? I am simply curious.
