My dislike with tier's post about NM and esp was because the game was really having trouble getting started and the discussion between NM and esp was the first hint of some sort of progress, so interrupting it as useless feels counter-productive, and that's it's not really in the mindset town should have at that point. I think scum is more likely to come out with a post like that since a lack of progress isn't concerning to them.

ETL and I have finally found some time to talk about our reads, and since it's getting close to DL we should really be closer to a lynch.

I think in sum, we're most confident on our scum read on tier. I've been guilty of posts like 64 a few times as scum, and have basically only seen it from scum. Because you know alignments, it's easier to tell which argument from town are unlikely to lead anywhere, so you're more likely to call them out as useless.

I also don't like him trying to drive a wedge between us and heartless, and the scum-read on lurker nm.

We agree that anen is town. Heartless is leaning town for both of us, and ETL has bulge as town for mostly meta reasons compared to his walls in SR London.

NM and Kaboose are mostly null, though I have them both as slightly more town than her. Kaboose's 19 makes me think he might be town (though I'm not convinced it's as strong an argument as TTH thinks), and NM isn't really making any effort to make his lurking appear active and engaged, which I would generally associate with him lurking as scum.

We disagree on prawn, whom ETL has as gut-town, while I think his empty questions aren't aimed at figuring out alignments. I don't think he's enough of a newb to justify that lack of direction, not to mention the terrible post 80, where he votes tier after calling his posts "arguably anti-town".

Neither of us have a good handle on esp. He doesn't like my attack of prawn's 80, when I wasn't the only one to call him out for it, which is pretty bad, but it's hard to tell if there's scummy intent with his lack of engagement.

Took a look through Heartless ISO to see if I could work out their townreads as they are usually pretty solid. They were slightly townreading TierShift and Espeonage.

Anen is prob town due to Not_Mafia's vote there the entire game.
Kaboose is prob town due to his early clear today (I'm guessing Heartless' track on us which makes sense given their end of day posts.)

That leaves TierShift, Espeonage and prawn.

I believe Espeonage's interaction with NM yesterday and Heartless' read on him make him probtown.

And then there's this:

what do you hope to accomplish from talking to Espeonage? I don't mind us waiting, I'm just interested because that looks to be the only thing to talk about. This is mostly a boredom post that will give me things to read.

In a role madness/uPick type game, its always good to give every player the opportunity to weigh in with their own information if they can/want after a night has passed. We do not have all the information. We don't know what role interaction there has been that may affect the information.

Right now, we believe that we have a clear guilty from Bulge's claim and flip. But what if Espeonage claims something else happened? That changes everything.

Lynching prawn is probably the right move given the number of unknowns going around.

Here are the potential scenarios:

1. prawn is scum
2. prawn is town, the remaining scum used redirect
3. prawn is town, there's an SK

I think that's the order of likelihood of the three. The point about his claim is mitigated by the fact that he admitted to looking at potential roles beforehand, so could well have stumbled upon fruit vendor. Or it's a fakeclaim. Or roles were done before alignments, and that's his actual roles.

Redirection fits thematically. An SK doesn't really, and wouldn't be balanced.

What does everyone think of tier's claim? I'd quite like everyone to take a stance on whether it's legit and whether we should lynch him.
