oookay. I got this line of thinking now.

for some reason, I am under the impression the scum team do not know who the sleeper is (either). do we know for a fact they do? or do they typically in this type of (bastard) role?

I don't, I think ooba potentially reached out to them.

So what made you think that Val was the sleeper? Or that Val KNEW she was the sleeper?

:igmeou:

are these not valid questions? clearly I am not getting something here.

Ya I'm skimming right now. Today is my first day at new job.

I don't get the screen wagon on Porochaz though. Hes certainly at least being superficially protown. Enough so that I'm inclined to trust my gut town read on him. Not sure why people think hes a good screen over me, sangres, or LLD.

CKD is asking all these questions that would be obvious if he would just read the thread.

The sleeper implicitly DOES NOT KNOW that they are the sleeper. What the scum know or don't know is anyone's guess. If Ooba-scum knows who the sleeper is, he might want to alert them to that fact so they don't waste shots. Alternatively, it might be a gambit. We just don't know.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

Or maybe comprehending Poro's desire to screen VR is really that hard to understand, idk.

The bolded is just mind numbingly wrong.

Like, no? If scum know who the sleeper agent is and know shit about their role, then he could be referring to MOST PEOPLE who haven't claimed yet. What the fuck.

Can we stop talking about Ooba and VR? Hes managed to create PAGES of horseshit in which we argue good policy and CKD asks us to spoonfeed him an explanation of the process at every single step of the way, only delayed a few pages. Jesus. Can we just make a halfway decent screen and quicklynch confirmed trolling scum? The sooner we never talk about the WIFOM behind confirmed scum's posts the sooner I can get back to directing my bitter disappointment towards RIP posts.

P-edit: Like right where I'm reading right now you literally just asked Poro why he thought/knew VR was the sleeper when he already explained that she is probably a JOAT and Ooba was talking about a JOAT.

*shrugz* just others seem townier than you. There's only 2 team scum left (probs) so 3 or my "scum reads" are wrong.
Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. I like to be spoon fed. Makes me feel all warm inside. I think i get it now.

I guess I found it hard to swallow that Prozac wanted to screen Val, based on a message from ooba. I felt like I was missing something else.

Unvote: Ooba

Still scum. I just want to get the screen done first.

Screen: LLD

Can we get this going? She's not giving us much of anything to read her off of and she's been sitting on a self-screen vote for most of this game. I feel pretty inclined to call her bluff right now.

I can't remember who mentioned it earlier, but I did like the good cop bad cop theory regarding Boo earlier. I'm not really suspicious of Boo for that as much as I am with her "I'm not sure if Cylons=scum" and her seeming so focused on calling Bro scum for his flavor. I'm just not feeling as good about her right now as I think I should be and don't think she's a terrible option to explore.

As much as I want to say the Poro wagon is a good wagon, I had the same reaction to Ooba's reach-out and I would probably have pointed it out if he hadn't. I just feel there are better options and we can always revisit it, say, Day 4 when an alignment change would be a little more obvious or telling. We already know Sleeper-VR might be a thing, so why waste a screen there?

I just rather lynch LLD then waste our last screen on a scum slot.

I will go more into detail later, but

Screen: Porochaz

Since everyone is refusing to discuss the point I brought up about screen strategy, I've decided this is the best route. We should screen our highest sleeper suspects and on a tie, screen the one we prefer to have alive.

At this point, all I can say is, I think porochaz has a fair chance of being the sleeper (as I previously indicated). If he isn't the sleeper, he is on the top of my list to not lynch. Since eventually it will come down to screen or lynch on these players, he is my top screen.

I think LLD is tomorrow's obvious lynch, waste of a screen.

I also think angrypidgeon could be scum... Nothing concrete yet, just gut feeling. It has to be him or the guy who isn't in the game.
This team is ruining my life!
