matt brings up a good point about the bulge., except for the fact that bulge doesn't have inside knowledge that rc is town, cause rc isn't town. they may be scum together but rc is scum.

Tbh I didn't think of it from an "info" perspective. My immediate reaction when reading was "wtf is going on in their heads" and idk it made me mad. That's it.

MattP's points are very solid.

Further, scum calling 1v1s involving their scumpartners TvT is very common. And look at JFSF's response.

1. I am
2. Yes I actually did.

It's just... off. I feel like Bulge could have been coaching his partner there.

And if we are both town, calling it TvT now could be a grab for towncred.

I don't like it, and I really don't like how it reflects on JFSF either.

I look forward to Matt's continued dissection of the game, and not just an easy vote.
beeboy - Everyone thought this game was made to troll pie but it was really made to troll pisskop.
Almost50 pisskop: Overall, that's a townie slot. Don't ask for specifics because with PK everything can be interpreted either way. It's probably WHEN he says/does things that matter, so it's more of a matter of conception rather than solid reasoning.

Why do you call Bulge an easy vote?

Compare it to Elyse and Oversoul jumping onto a wagon that they were invited on.

How is it an easy vote to go into an entirely new direction?

Tell me why RC would say this

In post 11, RadiantCowbells wrote:Unnecessarily giving reasons for an RVS vote

when in this game (where he was town mind you)he gave a reason for his RVS vote.?

OR why would he accuse me of being apologetic but when called on it was unable to provide examples of me apologizing?

yeah you would know what was in my head if you actually read the thread.

bottom line is RC is scum moar votes plox

It's not scummy on its own, but it's scummy in the context of a larger framework. Especially considering point 5; it's outside of the normal opening range for him.

IE he's not scummy for doing a fairly typical RVS, it's scummy in the context of it being not what he normally does and matching my scumtell whereby scum are often apologetic or feel inadequate.

Really? If you read both my post and his, it's a blatant misrep.

I already explained that I wasn't thinking along these lines, but yea, I guess it is good for info.

That's not what I was upset about. Quit misrepping me. I was upset because of the whole "caught scum page 1 gg" attitude. It's arrogant and unhelpful to town. My post made that quite clear. I'm actually curious what made you think I was patronizing them for having early scumreads?

Part of my switch to Bulge was me wanting to think that scum!JFSF wouldn't be doubling down on this after he got voted by Elyse and Oversoul and would know better than to keep going based on a vote from Flubbernugget, who is a useless sack regardless of alignment.

But then I remember that in the game I modded, essentially the exact same thing happened WRT JFSF and Slandaar, who was town.

http://forum.mafiascum.net/viewtopic.php?f=53&t=34150

Slandaar called him out early, got some pressure, JFSF doubled down on ignoring the arguments against him and trying to push useless points against Slandaar, and nothing productive ever came out of it except Slandaar trying to get me to kick him for his toxicity.

I'm not letting that happen this game.

VOTE: JFSF

This is happening today. I've lost way too many games second guessing my reads.

1. this only works if this is outside the norm of their normal town play, but that doesn't apply here because it's outside the norm of not only my town plat, but my scum play also so they cancel each other out and makes the fact that I RVS'd null and not alignment indicative at all. Saying anything other to the contrary just isn't true and if you were town you would concede that, but you don't which proves to me you aren't town.

2. Again you accuse me of being apologetic yet cant cite a single example of me being apologetic. Now you add in the feeling inadequate yet again can't find any examples of that because I am not apologetic about anything nor do I feel inadequate.

If anything I feel grateful. I was in a slump recently and I was having trouble finding the old jake from state farm and catching you on page 1 has actually helped me restore my confidence.

Bulge. If not on page 1, then when?

At what point does scummy behaviour become something that you can point to and say "that person is scum!"

I have scummy shit from Jake on page 1. His reaction is similar to what I've seen from Scum!Jake in the past. Why should I let that go and go do something else?

Further, you placed a random vote on someone who hadn't posted while you complained about the wagons. That's asking the game to go to RVS, forgetting what's happened. Essentially, to lose progression and content.

How the hell does that garbage help town in any way?

that was a great game and a classic example of me emulating my town play. Nice touch trying to use that against me here, you get an A for effort but i'mnot scum and you have already confirmed you are.

Jake's opening posts definitely did not warrant your reply. You were over-analyzing and reaching with absolutely zero content to look at. That's what I call too early.

This might be where are conflict lies. I haven't done solid research, but I was getting vague town!Jake feels from his posts.

The only non-RVS posting that had happened was between my two associative townreads. A random vote is better than voting a townread just for shits.

You know why I know you're scum?

Because even as you make all these posts decrying me as scum, you're still addressing me.

I see all these yous, direct references to me, these "great reference bros".

He's not really talking to anyone but me here. What he's really trying to do is convince me that he's town.

After all, if he thought I was scum, why would he be trying to argue with me?
