A couple things -- first, please don't take my posts out of context -- the bit about MattP's analysis of The Bulge is relevant here.

Second, it seemed like you were agreeing with MattP that it seemed more scummy for The Bulge to call out the RC/Jake spat as "townie" -- making two town reads in the process, while complaining about the singular scumreads of Jake and RC against each other. But then RC goes and implicates

three

people, including you -- so it seems inconsistent to me to follow Matt's logic and vote Jake over RC.

Now you're voting The Bulge -- and blatantly sheeping MattP -- but, I dunno, I can see any permutation of the RC/Jake conflict playing out. So I'm a bit uncomfortable with the wagon that's forming on The Bulge. Maybe it's scummy to see the spat as town vs. town, but I'm getting the sense that some people are seeing either parties as town, so why

see both parties as town? Or scum for that matter? RC is hyper-aggressive; Jake is very defensive, if not OMGUS. Maybe it's just me -- I lean against the hyper-aggression, but only because I don't like the play style -- I think it's anti-town. Not that Jake's arrogance is particularly pro-town either, but at least Jake is singular in his focus.

I've wondered if both parties are scum, bussing one another to clear one or the other, but I'm not so sure that's such a great strategy in the first place, especially on Day One. Then again, I underestimated the power of stupidity in my last game.

And for that 1 game where I was scum, I can probably provide you 3/4 games where I played the same way as town. What RC is failing to disclose is I was playing like my old town self in that game, I was purposely trying to emulate my town game so I could be read as town. My earlier games on the site were me being hyper agressive. See if RC were town he would not be relying on meta of one game, cause meta from 1 game is completely unreliable

I've done that once, and it was a great strategy cause it worked and we won.
