lalala, it's to scum's advantage to not claim hence the self-hammer you see from them sometimes. This game is already drowning in apathy so a good scum move would be to get the lynch done with the hopes that there will be an extended night like last time.

Your question is worded rather strangely, but what I think you are saying is scum wouldn't communicate that move and would just self-hammer. That looks like you are suggesting that Senator might be town rather than scum. But to continue down the WIFOM path, you could say that he is scum and said that to look town. YMMV.

The wagon on Senator didn’t develop as quickly as I thought. He picked up some quick votes at the beginning of the day and then began picking up votes again in the last several pages. What I’m not seeing though is much in the way of why Senator is scum. DeasVail does state that his vote in post 1155 is more a PoE vote because he feels confident in his town reads.

From the early votes on Senator, Midget quotes one post from Senator and calls it scummy. In the same post he quotes Creative’s post where he rescinded his PR claim and put a facepalm icon after it but then votes Senator. Midget does vote Senator again later (1093) but is voting more to sort Senator rather than taking a hard stance that Senator is scum.

Creative voted Senator in post 907 in what looks like an OMGUS vote from D1 stuff. Since that slot is being replaced, that vote is still on Senator.

Lalaladucks votes Senator in post 1217 with a simple “I could go for a Senator lynch” statement. The thing that is bothering me about Lalala is she is all over the place with her votes. Sometimes it seems like she is sheeping people like DQ and other times she changes votes, usually without much reason for the vote change. Other posts are mostly fluff. But she does have some good points that she throws out in between the baner. I’m not sure which way I lean on her at the moment.

Bottom line, the Senator wagon looks to be more one of opportunity versus actual scum reads from people. For those voting for him, please feel free to show me what scum behavior I’m missing when I read Senator.

RC, I just went through your ISO and it seems that your biggest reason for voting Senator is more of a meta read on him than anything he's done in this game. I believe meta is helpful in sorting a player, but I don't think I can get behind a lynch based on meta alone. Can you elaborate on what scum things you are seeing from him in this game?
