I only ask because he had the chance to self-hammer in 143-145 (at L-1) and instead claimed vengeful and wanted to know who to shoot. This doesn't line up with being a jester who can just enact his wincon (which he then flubs later).

I'm really just curious why everyone seems to blanket-believe him about his really horrible claim record, and why people were so eager to jump off of him and proclaim him a NK target.

Frankly, nothing about his claim makes me want him alive. Though I'm starting to think of him as a scum/sk that can't be NK'd. If that's the case I'd lean towards scum trying to draw a couple vig shots.

Given the mod team, I doubt Wgeurts is a normal jester. Vi hates third parties who can only win through anti-fun means. Additionally, LLD and GreyIce I think would be more creative than to include a vanilla jester.

is why botched fake claim made more sense to me than jester for a while.

calling for massclaims in twilight 1, roflclaiming commuter (better to try to draw the nightkill since he was actually a commuter), using the wrong definition of amnesiac (that was the fakeclaim part). later “remembered” some kind of ability that let him see the dead’s role pms and then tried to crumb mafia traitor to one of the scum teams. and later on practically bragging about some of the nightkills once he stopped commuting and started using his nightkill.

just lots of little things seemed familiar.

I have no reason to believe it until more evidence comes up. I mean, cats could refer to neighborhoods/masons/etc. There are too many possibilities out there for me to believe what a jester says.

Originally, when most of us voted him, we thought he was scum. Once he claimed jester, soem of us lingered thinking he was scum-claiming-jester as a save-his-ass fakeclaim. Once we realized he was a legitimate jester, a bunch of us backed off, because like you, we think jester lynch is stupid anti-town bullshit.
