Oh god those are old. I don't remember those games at all except hunter, and you apparently died n1 there. I also went to page 4/5 of your topics list looking for games, and all of them are apparently on page 5 <_<.
The only salient point I can glean from Anen is basically ffery is acting differently when she should be acting similarly in response to similar play, but similar ≠ identical, etc.-

Which game was this?Anen wrote:If the previous one, Fferyllt must be scum. A year ago, in another game she replaced in and at that time I'd been wagoned. (It rarely happens to me as town on Day1 but that was another example.) She derailed my wagon becasue he thought "it was clear that the town was on its way to a mislynch.) My gamestart was very similar to that game. (Yes, I did it intentionally.) Why hasn't she realized the same thing?
What do you make of the rest of ffery's play outside of just this one difference in play?
I swear to fucking God if you ignore me to squeal about how everyone is just trying to lynch you again I'm not moving my vote.-

I'd still also like focused and clear answers to these questions:
Cheetory6 wrote:Isn't this a little reachy? Implosion literally said that he would be back, reading and posting after work, which implies he wasn't going to be away for long. Walk me through why you thought this was scummy.
@Anen, what exactly was it about VinkahRVS that was worth keeping your vote on vs. RC or implosion who you'd given serious reasons for scumreading?
So you were saying that Vinkah was defending RC in a manner that felt like scum/scum, yes? Doesn't it look a little blatant to be that?
Why are Vinkah and implosion not scum together?-

I posted a link to the game.

he was putting reads into the game from the get-go.
reading through his early posts in this game, be picks at posts, but doesn't put down actual reads nearly so quickly.-

Like, Anen, in that game, in a single 24 hour day, you asked meaningful questions, had tons of analysis and changed your vote the moment you found someone more suspicious.
In this game, you floundered around on your Vinkah vote and didn't really do anything with it while calling other people suspicious without voting them or pressuring other things about their play which weren't centered around you.
I'm not saying it's impossible that you having pressure on you might have a negative influence on your play and you might be more VLA than you were that game, but like, why are you comparing these games at all? The difference is so stark. It's like. Ridiculous.
So like, why is ffery scummy for not defending you the same way she did there when you're clearly playing super differently/not playing as strongly as you were that game?-

I think I'd be willing to hammer Ane. I am looking at his ISO right here, and his scumreads seem to vary pretty wildly over the course of his posts (e.g. as pressure has mounted). I think there's a fair chance he could flip town, but I think most of us are playing pretty townie here. notscience would be my preference, and I definitely think he's skated by today, but Ane would be my number 2, I suppose.
Further, if we go back to 578, I think Ane has some directions we may look at tomorrow regardless as to what alignment he flips. I also believe in practical choices, especially on D1. If we can get out of the day with good discussion, no claims except for a VT and some clear input from the person being lynched... that's about as successful a D1 as town can have. As Ane said, a competing wagon would be nice, however.
UNVOTE: notscience; VOTE: Aneninen-

Oh wait, I suppose he could be a vig shot and the real kill was healed. That fits into my worldview better and maybe keeps me from looking at the game squinty eyed where I'm likely to jump at every shadow like a tweaked out meth addict.
Sk pretending to be vig works too.
Okay, I'm going to go back to sleep.I am in the top 90% of scumhunters onsite!-

In post 657, Nachomamma8 wrote:I think if Cheetory were scum he would possible be more cautious about this tendency, make sure his responses would be more measured and would very possibly be more bullish.
If he were an inexperienced player, then I would generally agree. But he's not and I think this is something that he was perfectly aware of. e.g. Regardless of his alignment, I'm sure he wrote 471 knowing that it would sound townish. Do you disagree?
In post 677, Nachomamma8 wrote:In post 642, Wickedestjr wrote:I already told you that I don't like when people exaggerate. I think it's a form of deceit. We're already playing in a game where scum are lying their butts off and we have to figure out who they are. So if you're town, you're not helping me by saying what I believe is an exaggeration.
This is probably a harder line to take than is productive: people exaggerate all the time for rhetoric, they do it because it's fun, they do it because it feels right at the time. I sincerely doubt you'll find too many scum just because their language is too strong.
I understand that. Exaggeration, alone, was not my issue. Note that he exaggerated my conversation with ffery early day 1, but I never called him scummy for it. But yes, when he exaggerates a reason for a vote, on a player that has already demonstrated over-reactions, on a wagon that already has lots of support, I'm going to call him out for it.
Nacho, you kept your vote on Anen, while he was at L-1, despite appearing to have changed your mind. Please explain."You miss 100% of the shots you don't take. -Wayne Gretzky"

Yeah, I'm curious about this too.
Also I agree sans evidence of two kills in the game that the gnomeo kill doesn't look like a target by mafia.
RC, in your hammer post you indicated an Anen lynch wouldn't be too informative, but there might be something to glean from his reads. What do you glean?-
