The meeting adjorned, and everybody went back to their own bubbles for the night. Except you. Feeling that a quick job at the Fitness Center would suit you, you put on your short shorts and head out for some Mountains 04 training. 5K in, you spot a man in a jumpsuit through the glass window skulking down the hall with various colors splattered over his face. In his left hand, the side away from you, he is cradling a spherical object in a secretive fashion.

Jumping off the treadmill and taking off after him, you tackle him from behind and pin him down, smothering him with your sweaty body. He protests a little, but its only token resistance. Groggily your sleeping co-workers stumble out to see the evidence. The paint-speckled man is suprisingly quiet throughout the ordeal, occassionally making an aduitory mumbling. Maybe a prayer?

When the security forces arrive, they wipe his face with rubbing alcohol to reveal Davesaz, a fellow security guard. His guise dispelled, Dave starts shouting about 'popping' everyone for the good of the human race. The man is insane, clearly! After locking Dave in the holding cell, the team investigate the sphere he was carrying. It was a bomb of some kind, one that emits an intense high pitched sound instead of fragmentations and heat. Was he going to destroy somebody's abode? Was he from some evil terriorist group? Whatever the case, he was clearly off in his own little meatworld.

The already disturbed sleep of the emplyees is disturbed by a sudden boom. The deafening quake was accompanied by a shrill alarm and a computerized voice.

'Biomdome Sections Compromised. Emergency Sealing To Commence In -60- Seconds. Please Evacuate The Following Areas: Dorm Hallway B, Rooms 11 - 20.'

You make your way with the crowd to the common room; shortly after the voice informs you that that section of the biomdome is sealed until safety crews can asses and clean up any hazards. A headcount reveals that almost everybody was here. 8 of the rooms were occupied, and 7 of the occupants were present. Skimming down the list:

The good news is that the damage isn't hazardous. RadiantCowbells' bubble was blown up; the glass shattered and the room further trashed due to the time it spent exposed to the high altituide winds. The destruction was limited to his room, so the hallway was re-opened after the destroyed bubble was sealed away. The only findings in the room were a splotch of blood and another strange, spherical device:

As noted before, the device seems to emit a high-pitched sound.

I am getting town from davesaz most.

While gamr is more active most of his content is well lackluster. I don't think it is really coming from scum though.

Now he is getting town from Dave? Where did this come from? Unfortunately, Fire was so generic and vague about his reads that it's hard to criticize them. It does show a very clear lack of read progression though.
