Ok. Someone explain why this is a thing when the account is marked as an alt and an existing account's username/password are provided. What is the point of this check.

I'm saying the check is stupid. Of COURSE my IP address is already associated with another account, that's what an alt is.
No, I mean you fucked up entering the account//password, or didn't register it as an alt at all. I didn't make that form, but it's unintuitive in that if you fail the capcha it auto fills everything else but doesn't refill the alt stuff. I'd assume you filled it all out, fucked up the capcha, got the 2nd capcha right without realizing you alt stuff got blanked, happens often enough.
Err, I think I accidentally registered Hieirama as a main account instaid of an alt account.
I got the "where did you learn about mafiascum" wrong and when it asked me to retype it, it changed the account type to main and I only noticed after I clicked submit. OTL
