I think I understand that setup spec finally but it took a lot of staring at it. i didn't understand it yet this morning when frogger and i were talking but I wasn't really awake yet (and am still not really awake. awake didn't happen today.)

I think I have a mental block of some sort where setup spec goes. I need this stuff explained to me in small words.



I don't understand the nightkill and I am kinda getting paranoid of metal sonic but it feels more like paranoia than a real thing, feels like the kill is trying to get me to ask why the claimed doctor is still alive, but I've been townreading metal sonic for so long and switching gears is hard so I'm just not going to go there toDay. They've been our rock this game and going back on that is too much upheaval for my understanding of the game state at this time.

I was expecting scum to kill in [metal sonic, ika] last night because i think metal sonic has blocked a few of their kills and if scum are hiding in the VT pool then ika has a chance of gaining an ability that could catch them out. Max was lynchable.

Actually, hangon, if mastin's setup spec is right and if the scumteam understand it or were approaching the game from a setup spec standpoint then the VT kill makes more sense. ika couldn't kill metal sonic without incriminating himself.



frogger thinks oversoul/molla makes more sense from a nka standpoint because oversoul has been absent and molla seems to be missing large chunks of the game state despite apparently having a neighbourhood available to him. but i could see ika/molla too.

There were better VT choices than Max if someone was current on the game state is what I'm saying.

I think from a numbersthing standpoint oversoul is not as likely to be scum as I had previously thought. I went through it during the night phase and it looked more like a townbeard to me, and also since he's siteflaking that means the activity levels aren't necessarily indicative of anything other than growing tired of mafia. but frogger's still pretty convinced and pulled up lots of quotes from oversoul that looked bad. I'm okay with him pushing oversoul's replacement to see how they respond but I don't think we should lynch him, especially not toDay.

I don't want to rush this dayphase, though. I think rushing so much is why I ended up reading flubber wrong (and feeling rushed is probably most of why I'm feeling paranoid of metal sonic but I think he's just like that). I want to stare at ISOs some more and ground myself in them and approach that game in a way that makes sense to me. I want this day phase to last long enough for oversoul to be replaced because he hasn't posted anywhere on the site since September.

I don't mean dragging it out to the deadline, but until Fridayish.

I'll do numbers for ika/molla tomorrow probably.

if I understand the setup spec right, and if it is right, then there is 1-2 scum in [ika, metal sonic] for sure and it probably is ika. but it seriously took me an entire day of thought to understand it from that angle. it is not my native approach to the game. I could link to examples of scumbuddy having to explain pretty basic setup spec stuff to me in private in my most recently completed scumgame?

I also do not want the day to end until oversoul is replaced because they site flaked over two weeks ago. that means we need to let the day phase last long enough for the replacement process to get started, at least 48 hours from daystart. consider the current location of my vote (nobody) to be a vote for oversoul being forcereplaced for inactivity.

Anyway, it's morning and I have time today and after I've done my modding duties I'll be back here ISOing ika.
