Everyone agreeing on a group of townreads and just lynching others until the game ends. It's really easy to do in this setup because scum only get two kills.

The current problem is scum still have those two kills, and also I'm not on board with ika being in the bloc and he's the one pushing it.

Oh, OK. I'm not too sure if that's a good idea though, especially if we decide on those townreads D1. We haven't got that much to go by then, so if we are going with that strategy, then I think we should decide on those townreads D2 when we have more info.

I also don't think ika should be in the bloc. They could be a Citizen who doesn't want to give scum any ideas,

but they could be scum pretending to be a Citizen who doesn't want to give scum any ideas.

Either way, not giving reasons on why we should do stuff doesn't help town.

As others have noted, you're acting like you're an auto-include in this eventual town bloc. I find this pretty scummy-- like you're trying to convince us that you're above suspicion, even when you haven't done anything particularly town.

So me:
Trying to get people to work together
trying to make people get a scum list for first lynch
trying to work with SW and possibly others on a town bloc that majority can agree to
trying to move dicussion foward and get info form people

I don't like the way that ika is playing, and I have been in favor of policy lynches or at least putting people at L-1 when either the game stagnates or people refuse to answer questions or generally lurk. Mostly just because I hate losing to WIFOM with players that play bad that I read town then end up scum.

I mean there's a better chance of hitting town than scum just by numbers if the shot is random anyway. Saphira here is making a lot of sense to me.

if it flips town: we have saved us time from wastning another lynch and generating more apathy to us by the said myslynch
if it flips scum: good to go

lynch town does not venge
we now are in the same gamestate with the same scum reads/reasons and that the next lynch would probally be on the person we wanted venge shot

And "nobody else is overwhelmingly town" =/= "we should townread you because you're doing stuff that's possibly town." By the way, why did you mention SW in particular? Are you leaning towards a townread on her, and if so, why?

How is it a cop out? At first I thought his not-including-reasoning-in-posts was very scummy, but it seems that's just how he generally posts. I can't read him at all, and that's very distracting when I'm scumhunting-- should I give him a pass because I can't find anything townish or scummy in his posts? When I'm looking at the remaining players, am I looking for two or three mafia? How should I interpret his (non)interactions with the other players? Even if he's town, he's going to distract us from actual scumslips; IMO, better to find out and know for certain and move on.

There's not much to unpack. You think I should townread you because you're taking action and forming a townbloc. I'm not townreading you, because I think it's a very viable strategy for scum to try and form a townbloc around themselves in the beginning of the game and push for lynches from there.
