Sort of the opposite of what I thought about TMWSTW's entrance. He entered the game with a loose upbeat vibe. As I reread and dug a little, I really liked the 1v1 on the player whose entrance was most shaky looking.

Hmm, OK. I felt the whole 1v1 thing was overdone, especially as it doesn't seem like there was any basis for why it happened.

These are the quotes I'm talking about. absinthe questions why Especially the Lies didn't include her explanation for voting me. Then absinthe also then says that her reasoning for thinking I'm scum is better then Especially the Lies reasons for thinking Anti is town, because they used in game evidence but Especially the Lies used meta.

So I said that, absinthe really didn't explain anything just saying she found something about my first post scummy, especially compared to my others. I then said that her reasoning was equally meta based as Especially the Lies.

then this post in particular i think displays a willingness to cooperate

I make that it's bullshit, they apparently got reads off of it but with no explanation, and actively ignoring people it's just scummy. The only real town explanation I can think of for just dropping it is if it was a gambit that failed, but even then they should at least own up to the fact it didn't go anywhere rather then just pretending it didn't happen.

From the reads list, the vote became serious but there was no indication in the thread prior to that. Switching off someone he's still scumreading onto a missing player doesn't look right to me.

absinthe's case on me is misguided but appears to be coming from a town perspective i think

she's doing her best to contribute to the game, move things along, figure things out

i rvs voted her, she didn't take notice of it, that is null

then in the beginning of the game i had her pegged as scummy because the entrance was awkward and the bob vote was silly

around 79 i started seeing her as not so scummy and i don't mind her next two posts either. yes one is just a smiley but it's a non-scummy smiley alright

she voted me because i put the L-2 vote on wednesday before they showed up. meh. not a great reason but not the worst i've seen for voting

It seems to me, and this is primarily the reason for voting, is their reaction to suspicion being thrown at them. It's not "no you're wrong and I can prove it, and I know you're wrong because I'm town and here's all the ways you are wrong", it's "you're a pussy". That is so not a town reaction. That's scum being mad people are catching on and having nothing substantial to defend themselves with.
