But then what's the point in swiftblade?

If I were just going for the spell list, I'd say screw swiftblade, and use haste to pump out 2 spells per turn.

You can't, that's 3.0.
If it's a casting time of 1 standard action, I should be able to...

I haven't thought about it since I literally only considered Wizard/Sorcerer after seeing the new party composition.
Transmutation honestly seems like the best to specialize in, even if you are using different school mainly, or possibly conjugation/abjuration. Support spells, teleport, or shield spells seem like the ones you'd need extra slots for, but I don't see a point in knowing tons of conjugation/abjuration spells, and there are so many transmutation ones to know.

If Hana is serious about Warmage, I'd probably ban Evocation and one or two of Necromancy/Enchantment. Abjurant Champion also seems pretty cool, but has high requirements.
Why enchantment? Its not worth specializing in, but it's useful at higher levels when you can force people to fight amongst themselves.

DISCLAIMER: Any and all statements are merely my somewhat uninformed opinions, based solely on my readings of spells and not actually using them. If I'm a moron and completely wrong, I'm sorry, but I hope you don't hold it against me b

DS, haste doesn't let you cast two standard action spells in one turn.
But, if you have 9 levels in swiftblade, you get
perpetual options
if you're under haste, which actually grants you an additional standard action if you wish, which you could use to cast a second standard action spell.
I don't know much about enchantment. But I think it's pros and cons are similar to those of a beguiler (albeit much less exaggerated). I haven't really looked at the spell lists, so it's hard for me to make that decision.

Haste doesn't give you an extra action. It does if you go into swiftblade, at like 8th level or something, but ordinarily all it does is give you an extra attack if you full attack.
Who said that?
Chamber. It's all a conspiracy.
Or is it?

Ah, ok. Neat. Still 9 levels before I get use out of it for spell casting.

I like the idea of Transmutation, but I feel like it's something a Cleric can do (and Clerics get full plate armor).
I prefer to leave clerics for healing and abjuration. Although, I am used to 5e where transmuters got awesome perks if they were wizards.
PEdit: Ok yeah, now I see. I've only thought about haste for swiftblade so I forgot that it was perpetual options that did that instead of just haste itself.

Cause I remember seeing that and being like "Aww hell yeah that is amazing"
And then spring attack as a bonus feat is cool.
SCREW YOU DUSKBLADE FOR NO HASTE SPELL
Is there any way I can learn spells of another class? Maybe I could get a bunch of haste scrolls... I dunno.

If I could get a few assorted spells from transmutation, that'd be great. Regular fly, Enlarge/Reduce, Haste, etc.
PEdit: That was the only one I could think of, besides maybe dimdoor.
