@camn: Is it the one about your execution post from earlier?
I'm sitting here sipping on my maple syrup liquor after a long week, but I think I see why you feel it's scummy af. I didn't have any particularly strong feelings about it tho despite the benefits I can see for scum.
So what are your thoughts about brian?Fluffy fluffy~~~ |"READING KATSUKI IS LIKE SOME SORT OF POSTMODERN ARTFORM"- GreyICE
Katsuki is by far more absurdly beautiful than Fate. (hai parama)

I don't see why we shouldn't hypo.

I'm already voting for Fate. I found his platform to be very reasonable (although now that it's been made clear that half of his platform doesn't matter considering the day ends once a King is elected, I'm reconsidering my stance). But I really like the 'I will take the popular opinion into consideration but will lynch based on my own opinions.' He's taking accountability and I would never vote for a puppet.
I think you're a good player, but you're generally ethereal to me.
My initial vote for Camn was originally a 'screw you Nacho' sort of thing. Although I do hold her skills in high regard after our last game together.-

You disappoint me. Of all the words there are out there to describe Fate, "reasonable" is one of the last words one would ever use.Fluffy fluffy~~~ |"READING KATSUKI IS LIKE SOME SORT OF POSTMODERN ARTFORM"- GreyICE

The following are within the Day Rules. In post 1, FakeGod wrote:Once you have reached a simple majority (half of all living players plus one) that person becomes the King. The game thread will be then locked.
If deadline is reached and no one has received a simple majority of the votes, the player with the most votes will become the King. If there is a tie, then whichever player that attained that number of votes first will be declared King.
King will PM me name of the player he/she wants executed. If the King fails to do so within 24 hours of thread lock, King will be executed instead.
A deadline extension may or may not be granted; just ask.-

I think that hypoing the results is probably the way to go if that's how we want to do things. I'm not sure that's the way that we want to do things."Playing with Nacho is like playing with a religious conservative." ~UncertainKitten

Okay. Would you prefer I said I think your play is trash and you have no idea how to read me? I think I do remember Kats saying he couldn't convince you I was town in Shaman Mafia...In post 190, camn wrote:Don't try and buddy up to me, Skies...
In all seriousness, though. I voted someone I thought may have a good chance of lynching scum on Day 1. You're just one among many within this playerlist. Don't think you're special.-

I don't think there's anything special or abnormal about Fate's philosophy to the game thus far. I think that votes on him now are votes of trust in him to kill scum; if you are voting for him for any reason other than this, you are probably voting him for a bad reason. In post 147, KittyMo wrote:i specifically didn't wanna vote fate til I have a read on him but I probably would anyway at this point out of all the current wagons for philosophical reasons"Playing with Nacho is like playing with a religious conservative." ~UncertainKitten

In thinking that directing the kill is better than not because I don't see the same value in reading off a king's choice than you do? I don't think that competent scum will be caught with their king choices and I also fear that competemt scum as king can make some decisions that are pretty freaking damaging to town and still possess wiggle room afterwards."Playing with Nacho is like playing with a religious conservative." ~UncertainKitten

Or perhaps that is a paranoia I possess simply because I've utterly dominated as scum in kingmaker setups; I understand that there isn't a lot of concrete evidence supporting my way but "king decisions give information" isn't the most substantive thing to argue against."Playing with Nacho is like playing with a religious conservative." ~UncertainKitten

I absolutely agree that we should direct the king's choice here, which is why I agreed with Camn's suggestion earlier. If someone states they will execute X Person, and that someone gets elected, then obviously the majority wanted to lynch X.In post 197, Nachomamma8 wrote:In thinking that directing the kill is better than not because I don't see the same value in reading off a king's choice than you do? Electing someone and saying they have to lynch whoever we tell them to is dumb because they're just following the town consensus. There's nothing to be read off of that except the majority of the people thinking he will just do what the town wants him to do.
