What do you mean by town block?

What
This is the first game I've heard the phrase "town block"
heurist wrote:<words words> what's a neighborizor? <words words words>
a neighborizor makes people (almost always themselves and one or more other players) neighbors. Neighbors have their own quicktopic/private chat to talk in, but have no information about each other's alignments.

A town block is USUALLY when, instead of trying to only find and hunt scum, players make a 'block' of people who they think are town and try to work together better to lynch scum outside of it, usually by not lynching other players inside the town block and negotiating/debating who's scum primarily with other members of that block.
In this particular game, it's a farce (well-meaning or otherwise) wherein people say they think some other people are town and pretty much implicitly agree to not lynch each other regardless of alignment for an undefined while and hope it ultimately works out to their benefit. Which, for some of them it probably will, so who am I to hate really

my question will be noticed one day.
Alignment Cops Return "Friend" or "Foe" unless otherwise stated in the role PM. Friend means that the player can win with their target. Foe means they cannot. Framed players return Foe.
fam
I am not an alignment cop I am an individual Asari cop (like all other Asari / Turian)

I get the results 'Asari' 'Not Asari'
And we already have claims coming out...
This post implies he isn't an Asari because he would being trying to counter claim me if he thought there was 1 Asari cop and if he was an Asari and knew there was multiple cops he would know I didn't out any useful info.

I'd gladly risk lynching a Turian :)

In post 1072, MathBlade wrote:Blatant trying to discount asari/turian powers. Why would anyone want to "lead" the thread? I am a vocal player and want to be heard but leading the thread towards a conclusion is generally bad unless you have a confirmed guilty. Since this is day 1 and they are not acting as if they have a confirmed guilty and in fact said they have more important targets, this looks to be a scum mindset.
Since you do not seem to understand this, I will explain it to you. As far as discounting powers go if you meant I forgot that Varsoon and Beeboy cannot be misdirected or blocked, yes I did do that. The second part you seem confused on. It is actually quite a simply strategy that I have done as scum in a multiball game like this before, so it is something that I want to be wary of falling into this game. When someone is claimed, such as a serial killer working with the town, the town begins to not worry about the potential threat anymore. Therefore, when the game begins to wind down, the town can easily be fooled into forgetting their former ally is still their enemy and get outmaneuvered. So while Varsoon and Beeboy play an important role to us right now as they are town allies. We must be careful not to let the mindset of their people overly sway the town. I wanted to both remind myself of this because I will not fail to miss the enemy again.

As for making a relationship chart, that is not a thought block, (?) but rather something to be done. It is a lot of work and if I am still alive to make one late game, I will. But with twenty seven people, it is just not feasible at this time. Social dynamics are kind of my thing, so I am curious of the results.

Why mention it then, why not keep it to yourself. By saying you have something but will not say is like saying, I have information. The point is to discuss problems. Seriously how many people would be willing to claim non-human...strange questions and observations you have been making. It rubs me the wrong way the sudden need to soft claim.

Honestly I'm willing to jump on to Dwlee, stay on TTH or jump on Shiro. Anyhow, I'm staying on TTH until we're close to hammering someone else, I feel like its still a good lynch and I'm tired of having to go into the full editor to format my vote every other post.

I'll elaborate on my dwelee read a little and a couple of the other big wagons. In exchange, I ask for one (1) fairly detailed read of my choosing in the relatively near future (sometime between d2 and uh d4 let's say).

I voted dwlee over anyone else at the time because of this post and the few after from him that followed with the 10/10 threat m9 and sheeping (i think rc) onto kuroi.
In post 1040, Dwlee99 wrote:am I allowed to vote tth? I wouldn't want to upset the hive mind.
I have seen do multiple scum do such a similar smug dismissive act towards the game in general when it seems like a majority of people are scumreading them, to try and deflect away from their wagon and implicitly suggest that everyone who's suspicious of them is bad at the game, that the above post basically made me immediately think something approximating "kill it die die die fire death murder kill die burn die".
To be fair to him, the rest of his posts aside from that aren't nearly as bad as those, and unlike many here I have an fairly small amount faith in my reads given <this game>, but that's definitely the biggest gut scum reaction I've gotten from anyone's posts all game.

I have basically no real read on kuroi but I'm very unconvinced of anything everyone else is saying about him actually being legit reasons for why he'd be scum, and he's amusing so I'll be sad if he gets lynched today.

TTH I had high hopes for actually coming in and at least doing something, and being relatively good lateish game, but him not coming in and doing shit after saying he said he would is a legit scumtell when it's so easy for him to *not* be the lynch around with so many people and so little noose to go around, so if his wagon got noticeably bigger than dwelee's by tomorrow and I could help make someone actually die soon I'd probably hop on.
