You answered the question and that was it. Other than the weird questioning of the Anti/Godz situation, you don't seem engaged in this game.

But him asking to be King when he hasn't done anything worthy of being voted King raises my eyebrows and I think he's probably worried he's going to be lynched. He hasn't really stated a strong case on scumreading anyone and I don't see him as a serious candidate of being voted King today (mostly because I don't think he's done anything particularly townish and there are many other players in this game who will be considered before he would). It feels like he's doing it specifically to avoid death.

How does campaigning for him to be king make him more likely to avoid death when there's not a chance in hell that he gets voted in?

It's about what he's trying to accomplish. If he had a reasonably sound scumread or if he was universally townread, it'd be more understandable. Here, it just looks like him trying to avoid a lynch in a less blatant 'please don't kill me.'

I don't recall discussion on kings presenting a set of options and the town choosing between them, but since that necessarily occurs before election, I don't see how that's better than simply picking a victim and then electing a king to execute it.

I'm open to having a puppet King since we can just use the king for a sanity test.

What a coincidence! All the people I said I'd like to see lynched today also happen to be on this wagon. The ones I called out for townreading me seem to be taking the opposite stance as well. So I'm guessing some in the first group and maybe one or more in the second group are scum. I doubt all of my scumreads (as in Hiplop, Skybird, Albert, Bro) are actually scum here. Of those mentioned, I think Godz is town and I might be wrong about Bro.

Also, regarding why Nacho may or may not want to claim today. Would him claiming 'X-role' change your read of him (serious question since roles != alignment and FG has confirmed to us the existence of things like scum Cops)? Do you think he's more likely to make it to tomorrow if he ends up claiming something scum would want to kill?

Cops do not know their own sanity. Sanity will be revealed upon flip. No two cops have the same sanity. Cops can be Town or Mafia aligned.

Okay, well, not confirmed. But a scum cop is likelier as the number of cops increases.

Eh. Not necessarily. It entirely depends on the break-down of other roles in the setup and/or design intent. A brief look at some other setups FakeGod has run suggests he's fond of roles like masons and innocent children, so it's not like a cop is the only role one could claim that would make me wary of lynching them.

He's mostly asking questions and answering any questions that others have asked him but I'd have to ISO him to see who he thinks is town and scum; though I do remember in one of his last posts he's decided I'm scum. I haven't seen him push anyone and we are far enough into the game that it doesn't seem right.

To be honest, I would be fine with almost anyone currently voting Spiffeh being dead today. Even though I know there have to be some town players somewhere in that mix. Any town read I might have had on Kamagi evaporated rather quickly. zakk is still probably town and I don't feel all that bad about Axelrod (who is still on the Spiffeh wagon in spirit), but everyone else cannot die sooner.

It'll be funny if it turns out that Nachomamma8 is scum, but with the composition of that wagon and his play in general, I don't really see that happening right now.
