Recruiting is the most powerful upgrade for the scum. I've never been in a game or hosted 1 where scum haven't taken traitor.-

In that situation you'd be scum, for my role PM tells me soIn post 41, Vedith wrote: If we got to LyLo, It's me, you and and light with the following confirmations-
We lynched Scum JOAT and Scum Role Cop (meaning that the traitor was recruited). Both me and Light are town reads of yours, and our ISO gives very little but we are voting each other in LyLo (meaning you are confirmed).
would you then have any less suspicion on Light giving what you know he originally selected?-

Ugh sorry I didn't post last night, my computer froze twice while trying to post and it was late so I needed to sleep
Anyway here's some reads:
Town - Shaddowez
Lean town - Superbowl, Sora, Kyndy
Null - Lycanfire, Sir Bastion
Lean scum - Vedith, NJAC
Haven't looked at the hydras/Raskolnikov yet
Starting with Vedith - Seems to prefer quantity over quality in his posts (67, 69, 71, 98 etc), even though he's been the most active poster he's posted way too much filler and fluff and surprisingly little content. 115 I don't get, why is he looking for his own buddies (if I'm missing something here please tell me). Already said what I disliked about 55. 142 is towny but thats about it.
Lycanfire - As I saidcouldbe opportunistic scum, voting Vedith because he was defensive/jumpy and then jumping onto me in 110 for questionable reasoning, but I think that contradicts the scum read on Vedith and in any case I think he's more likely over-confident town than scum. Posted lots of filler, made hardly any content - anti-town but not (I think) a scum tell here.
Superbowl, Sora - Both have posted constructive, game-advancing posts and have been clear about their positions (114, 156, 154, 177), though Sora hasn't posted much + it would be nice to see more from him. In particular I am impressed with superbowl's case on NJAC (177, 186) although I'd rather lynch Vedith today.
Kyndy - Whilst her case against Vedith (137) is a little weak I feel like it's town-motivated and it's conclusions match my reads of Vedith. Again his reads appear sound to me (167). This is a very slight town read though, not as strong as Sora/Superbowl.
NJAC -Reallydon't like 178 - kyndy's reads look okay to me. Disagree with 162 with regard to Sora as well. I can't fault Superbowl's case against him. Not as strong a read as vedith but getting stronger.-

Gonna break down your read on me just so we're clear:
142 is towny because it explains why you think Lycanfire's questionable vote on me isn't a potential townread when I though it could be - if you were scum and lycanfire were town you'd have no reason to protect him from me scum reading him as it would make another potential mislynch available to you. You also stated the obvious that a decent scum player can respond to a reaction test in a way that looks towny. In post 222, Vedith wrote: Now, second scum I feel is Light ("Oh no, you think 2 people voting you are scum?!"). The reason being 202 - This post is basically a copy of what's already in the game. What pinged me so hard about it?
"142 is townie" - After the discussion of my 142 post had already happened. I'm 100% sure that if I didn't question 146, he would have called that town. I want to know here what makes it town, I mean I know what makes it a town but, but does he? He is saying what has already been said, and making his opinion, while he actually has none.
Why would I call 146 town you basically say the same quote twice with slightly different phrasing.
Please, do tell me how agreeing with a townread makes me scum. Not much of a case huh?In post 222, Vedith wrote: His comment about Superbowl is basically - "Yeah, we got our mis lynch tomorrow"-

(reads are from strong > weak)In post 369, Raskolnikov wrote:@light reads?
Town: Shaddowez, Sir Bastion, Raskolnikov, Sora, Superbowl
Neutral/Hard to read: Kyndy, Hebee

Confused: Vedith (tbh I've likely got tunnel vision here so stop me if you think I'm being stupid)
If he thought he might be going down, pre-emptively claiming might get him out of a lynch as it would be more likely read as a poor town move than a scum move, and as scum know who's town it would allow him to ride to LyLo on faked innocent results. He would also be aware that town would be uneasy with lynching a claimed PR even if they were scumread. In post 366, Sir Bastion wrote: @light_ganski: humour me, what is the advantage of such a gambit?

My original kyndy read was weak and based more on my gut feelings than anything else. In 357, she does two things I don't like: first says HH's playstyle is townie before saying she doesn't like HH's style of simply summarising reads - I don't see the need for her to effectively contradict himself here. Why exactly is she bothered with Sora's 342?In post 398, shaddowez wrote: What changed your kyndy town read to neutral/hard to read?
If Hebee is hard to read, why is 396 the only time you mention them, instead of interacting and trying to form reads?
Overall I don't feel like I've been given much reasoning in her posts to town read or scum read her. If you put a gun to my head and asked town or scum I'd say town but only on pure gut feelings I've had all game.
Hebee hasn't said enough IMO. Their 193 would make me lean town if they'd said more but he hasn't. Would like to see if any of those 'unreadables' have changed for them.-

I think I've said I'm fine with lynching NJAC if it comes down to it but my gut scum read on Lycanfire is much stronger. Will jot up a few thoughts here:In post 399, superbowl9 wrote:Okay with <5 days till deadline you should probably either be convincing us really well and really fast to wagon Lycan or just voting one of the people being wagoned that you most want to lynch (NJAC based on your 396 reads)
Lycan's first post is 86 where he comes in and RVS votes Vedith, at a stage where we're already out of RVS in my opinion. He makes a couple of jokey posts before switching to superbowl in what seems to beanotherrandom vote at a very late stage. In 99 + 101 he then switches onto me for rather questionable reasoning. This was the point at which I first suggested he could be opportunistic scum, but he then didn't post for some time and I sort of forgot about him which is evident in the fact I put him as neutral in my first reads post.
In my other reads post I said he was playing antitown but didn't feel as if I could place him down as town or scum at the tie (being that he was a bit of an afterthought to my reads as he hadn't posted in some time, to which he responds in 266 practically instructing me to town or scum read him. At the time I made that reads post I was struggling to build a read out of the small number of posts he'd made but an overall look at his ISO doesn't impress me.
He later says 266 was his jokepost which looks bad if he's not being sarcastic and I don't think he is, that post consists of the majority of the content he has made.-

What I'm saying is that time is now. This is how no lynches happen. The deadline comes a lot faster than you expect and the last thing we want as town is to have no decisive wagon on the same day as deadline. Of course. 220 - him calling out vedith on being anti-town, and actually trying to encourage him to contribute more constructively than the crap he'd put in before that post, rather than just scum reading him and leaving it at that.
