2) Lynching Thor and vigging Hebi might stop two teams kills.
3) Thor can talk his way out of this if not threatened with rope, DGB cannot.
4) We need to eliminate as many scum actions as possible.
5) The people pushing for lynching DGB are all people who I have taken issue with, have mild paranoia of and have thrown shade my way minus you.

Because it is the optimal play to lynch confirmed guilty over a maybe. This is a lot of words to try to lynch a maybe over confirmed.

1) If Thor is ascetic, then he's immune to all actions besides NK - that would also include gunsmith check I presume? So, no.

I hope coming at it from another angle helps. We want the same thing, except you want to try and hit a grand slam and hope all your speculation turns out correct, while I'm happy to hit a single RBI and take the significant win probability increase rather than gamble with so many variables unaccountable.

I agree on the risk aversion sentiment.

The points of failure I disagree on. If you're town, we define failure VERY differently. I will also comment more on why I played this the way I did post decision on lynch.

With the understanding that if you are town you prefer DGB, can you comment on Thor's claim and it's likelihood of being town?

I am town and I prefer DGB. I'm mulling over Thor's claim at the moment. It's plausible and not as suspicious as it would be in a smaller game with less roles. Normally that kind of claim would just elicit a *facepalm*.

I think the best way to work out Thor's alignment is to push him to engage and interact.

On that note: @Thor - Why are you town? Your claim has obvious problems. If you're town that sucks for you, but it doesn't change the fact that it looks like a mocked up claim that can't be confirmed or contradicted. Give some effort so we can read you. Thanks.

Are there more conf scum than DGB and Thor? I know Thor has a gunsmith guilty and claimed JOAT but why is DGB conf-SK?

I know I'll get these answers upon reading but if we do have caughtscum then you're right in that the SK would probably shoot town.

Thor is not confirmed scum. They are confirmed to have a gun.

And this game is like the conservative south. Everyone has guns and goes to the gun store but it becomes a matter of who is town. Not who has a gun. Again I reiterate gunsmith is for innocents not guilties.

I'm really not getting your reasoning today. DGB shouldn't be lynched, and is Shaziro trustworthy? o_O

Besides, what are the chances that every single gun-carrying player is scum? We've been lucky following your reads so far (though, I honestly would have had the same reservations about MapWolf). Following them blindly is guaranteed to lead to the lynch of a valuable town player. We need more than just a gun. We need scummy play.

I am pretty darned sure that you're town, but this kind of peer-pressure play (I never thought I'd use that term as an adult...) gives scum an easy ride. All they have to do is wait for you to accuse a town (or their opposing team) of being scum, and they don't even need to pretend to contribute. Just sheep. It didn't matter so much in the beginning of the game because it was all so overwhelming, but we're coming down to the crux of the game now. With your help and sheer luck, we're on a roll with scum being picked off at a good pace. But now, we need to drop the gimmicks.

I think Drixx has done a good job of taking up the gauntlet to lead a more rational approach, which is what we really need from this point on.

It was fucked, I agree, but if people want to lynch me for it they've been given the chance, and mod confirmed who my neighbor was. And they were town. This makes no kind of sense for me to be scum, why would I kill the person in my neighborhood when I could snowball them. Why say both roleblockers were scum when I could just say the one is?

Not only that, but egg hasn't even flipped. We only know for sure townblock was scum, which isn't exactly an opinion only I had at the time.
