I asked him what his reads were and he threw a bunch of naked ones at me.
I told him I'd look into his obi push, realized his iso was a labryth and asked him to summarize why he they were scum in a few sentences.
He drops an entire case in there with bulletpoints.

And at that point. Between all the "can't wait to talk tonight" and "ill be around for a while" stuff.

It just wasn't a good vibe.

Asked him if he'd be willing to claim. He was townreading me but it was hard to get a sense of how strong.
Said he doesn't trust me. That's fine.

But of the questions I asked. My questions about obi seemed to illicit the most reaction. Which makes sense being his top scumread.
Titus towned up a fuck of a lot from day start and that was one of the things I noticed so figured I'd ask about it.
And I remember not resonating with his push at all. Like the things he was bringing up felt more like small forgivable slight inconsistancies that I'd make pushes for as scum. Particularly people like titus who isn't always easy to understand anyway.

My judgment call was. Yes, this push is omgus and malicious and not genuine. At that point I disengaged from the hood and put full focus in the thread on pushing my scumreads.

Later he says "you know for someone who claims to sort in hoods you sure aren't sorting me"

This is posturing.

Later finally he brings up that he didn't gain any alliance bonuses and asked me if it could have anything to do with me.

Before I can respond, he votes me in thread for concluding that my role is more likely to be a scum role.

So where from day start until then did the realization happen that he didn't get alliance bonuses because of me?

When it was the most convenient for him.

Ok having read through this and NC's view of it, to me it just sounds like you two both developed scumreads on each other at around the same time and are now both being biased about what happened in the hood. Both of your claims of the events in the hood are the same, just with different spins on it.
I think it's highly likely this is a T v T.

He's quick to write this off as tvt without giving a deeper understanding of what exactly is going on here and our takes on what happened in the hood aren't very similar at all. They're different because what chara said went down isn't what went down because its scum.

In other words.

His logic is "okay these two guys both developed opportunistic scumreads on each other out of nowhere and are both twisting what was said in a hood to make the other person look bad. Feels town on town."

One, my scumread devolved on chara far earlier. Two, that doesn't make any sense.

As for the event triggering the -2 stress: an extension of me being a miller I suppose is that my event power instead of raising stress lowers it by two. That was my trigger. (I know, Varsoon said that in general, town events will raise stress and scum events will lower stress. But mine didn't. Dealwithit.) It was a pro-town power, I assure you, best used early rather than later especially given that I'm going to die early this game regardless.

Generally, anti-town Episode Events and outcomes will move the stress meter towards 'Tragic Destiny.'
Pro-town Episode Events and outcomes will move the stress meter towards 'Slice of Life'.

i have tons of TOWN reads (of varying strengths) but when it comes to identifying scum I don't have a single strong scum read. The closest to resembling a scum read at all is Not Chara and that's why I'm voting it right now.

Cause he seems like scum, I posted the biggest culprit of that fake feeling, his post has been mostly void and heck he even contradicted his own reason for voiting the wagon he is in.

He calls bs on people trusting mastin on yume read, when his own scumread a sheep of mastin.

I'll give you a little peek into my thoughts while we're at it (this is a rare incident):

At one point I thought SS was the lie detector. The "event" happened close enough to him catching up, so I thought it to be a good chance he was the one. I immediately moved him from Null to a slight town read (bc I had no way to confirm he IS the LD). Anyway, later on Creature did his stunt and seemed like claiming LD himself, and I'm left with big question marks at best. Is Creature for real?? Why would he do that if he is? Or did he notice what I did and is trying to cover for SS? And if so, what means of communications do they have together that guarantees such a stunt just doesn't backfire?

Of course, I could be far off and maybe neither of them is the lie detector. I seem to be missing lots, even about my own role. For example, I don't even know why I thought I was about to get confirmed. The fact is it says up there that the event I'm in (Joy Ride) prevents me from using my powers on anyone outside of it, and protects me from being affected by powers of those outside of it. How could I have missed THAT?

Oh, well.. if anyone has been town reading me based on me proclaiming town earlier; feel free to retract and reconsider. Obviously Scum!Me would've been paying much more attention and would have known a Lie-Detect action would not work on them, so I could've very well faked it with this intention! (Except I didn't, but I'm just saying that I could have if I were scum).

I feel like I've rambled enough already, but I'm sitting here waiting for my brother to show up so we can go to a family dinner at my other brother's place, and waiting on someone who is running late just irritates me, so I'm not even going to reread what I just typed.
