Flames - Although I don't think you should rush into lynching him because "OMGZZZ, We are town we caught scumzzz". He could be town, I just feel less positive about him being town after 1st of all, pushing towards a BNL lynch instead of me. Then still no vote on me (at the time of writing this).
If Flames is scum, then Cakes is scum as well. They will not want to out potential team members, and both were pushing onto BNL is a delayed manner. Cakes seems pretty scummy to me.

- Flames said that he suspected 2 scum in the Mason group, but yet he wanted to keep quiet as Mason's rather than out it. If he felt tehre were 2 scum, he would have wanted to out it to town.

Rylai & Lina is more than likely easily town. If they stop the tunnel vision, they could actually be a good person to follow.
Ircher is most likely town. His comment that I checked does not come from scum imo.

I don't understand the issue with BNL not claiming. It wouldn't have stopped the lynch, with less amount of time to find out and people shouting "Rabble rabble rabble he's lying" or "lets test it rabblerabblerabble". As scum he could easily claim that he can't be lynched again here and town would have to accept it for now with the risk on another non lynch.
The argument to keeping information from town is terrible.

What I'm saying is, judging by the description you made in 1453, it could potentially be a similar mechanic.
