On second thought, yeah, probably all/mostly us. The description of our wincon makes me think it'd be weird for town to have access to dark magic. Sorry for spazzing.

Important information: Non-dark-magic spells get absorbed by the person you use it on. This means "arcane theft" gets absorbed into whoever it's used on as a sort of swap. This means that you should only absorb when somebody is about to get lynched, or if we're going to night kill then. This also has GOOD SYNERGY with my invade aiblity, being able to find out what they have during the day
The only other thing (besides my curse) is prod, which should not be a big deal (if I'm understanding it correctly)
ahhh yep. Alert probably indicates there are roles that have unexpected reactions to it, though, right?
Arcane theft is also a role we'd wanna use on one of you if we were getting lynched when you guys had (ostentatiously) negative spells like alert, but hopefully that won't come up too quickly.
As for curse, both seem like good ideas, but the latter probably gets more towncred overall? Not much of a preference here though.

On second thought, I'm not sure we'd get towncred for having it passed to us; if we were semi-SRed, it could feasibly come from a town and we'd also be in danger because of it, and if we weren't, it wouldn't make sense for it to be passed to us in the first place.

It's possible alert is just filler. It seems we all have the same number of abilities, and scum could've started out with a different one and needed some last-minute nerfing or something? But also just roles can interact with it in ways we can't really expect to predict in pregame I guess.

Wisdom could actually be a bothersome role considering the mechanics of this setup, and we don't know what passive abilities are affecting it. Probably none I guess, but even just having private communication with someone when various PRs are constantly moving around could be a problem if both are town and they can continue to use the ability in a chain, or just if he has some kinda informative power w people he comes into contact with.

actually no i'm stupid.
Since we'd risk killing what's basically a blue if we killed wisdom and redirected it to us, i'd definitely wanna kill elsewhere. I think we can either leave it or do what pisskop said but with someone that isn't Iron i.e. nullify the spell whilst killing the person we want
@Nahdia What happens to the 2-shot magic after they are used? Will they still remain in the spellbook and flips or do they disappear?
The section that reads "they will be removed from your spellbook once no uses remain" is followed by "None of the above applies to dark magic."
Dark Magic never leaves your spellbook, even if your uses are spent.

Redirecting from a popular townread onto dunnstral seems best, but i don't know who that would be. I guess fire would be a bad choice because we're buddying him a bit?

Sorry, I know I'm not super into strategy. Also if Jaereed didn't already tell you, Mana Shield is supposed to only work at night, so you definitely wanna use that on us when we use arcane theft

OK. I'd like you to mana guard us tonight but if you have a preference go with that. I'd personally rather kill AJ (who roleblocked dunnstral and is near-clear for it) at least if you're known for wifom like this, but again, i'm not super acquainted with strategy.

I wanna use the arcane theft today, hence asking for mana guard. Any idea who we should go for? Whoever it is is someone we might wanna kill the night after, hence me asking now
Wouldn't wanna use it on someone who gets lynched because they'd likely not get abilities we want? is the idea i had anyway... :s
