Maria has a BP assigned to her from Double Trouble that hasn't been used (because there is no missing nightkill). Maria will be protecting MoI. This way they can't die unless one of them kills the other.

I am. In all likelyhood I would not. But the option to discuss with Maria in the Lab overnight (assuming we get there) should leave open the possibility. I fully acknowledge that it is possible one of Maria / Spiffeh has played a solid game and fooled me. More info to assess who that could be is a good thing, correct?

And shouldn't Town you (WIFOM of a No Kill aside) want that possibility open in case Maria convinces me Spiffeh is the better block? You are scum reading him correct?

I just think that if you think there's a 95% chance that I'm scum, it's strictly the higher value play to just sabotage me? you sabotaging town doesn't lose us the game outright, so why not just target the person you're fairly positive is scum? why even leave the door open for a different pick that's just an edge case

If scum is as hemmed in as this plan establishes then there is no practical difference as to who I may or may not target at Night and whether it is beneficial to announce it before Night. Yet you are continually sidelining from the issue at hand ...
