The slot is going against the town grain which is getting them scumread but there's nothing scummy about it.
Their reads are admittedly shit but they believe in their reads and I have no reason to believe that they are fudging their beliefs and I think that if they were they'd have backed off when called out.

S5 (i'd like to hear from nacho since he, from what i saw, is pushing this read further but thoughts from LQ can't hurt), what do you think of this specific line from SoD? Sorry if you've already commented on it.

It's giving me a lot of mixed feelings - like i like the admission of forcing reads and i think that's more likely to come from town with a quirky thought process (i could see myself doing that for example) because of the honesty, but the tone feels really fake which renders that pointless.

I do know that smart is generally an awkward poster regardless of alignment so I'm not sure how relevant either point is.

in terms of reads i'm comfortable with the same 3 townreads i listed earlier {L&R who i'm basically banking on being town, and E&A and S5}. Penguinos I still think has the scummiest posts in thread but I understand the points that work on them being town. I'm starting to get around the sword scumreads and would like to see how the Transcendence/SoD dynamic progresses later in the thread. From the current bits I saw and my general impression from skimming I don't see them as a team, would like to know if anyone disagrees there. Chihiro still is gut-scummy but the only thing I have to really back up that feeling is their confidence in Transcendence/Penguinos as a team which doesn't really mesh with what I'm seeing because I'm liking infinity's posting better than i did early game (transcend still feels like scum!Transcend in RVS but he's barely doing anything when i'd think he'd be more active if they rolled scum).

Rc, I have like zero reason to nk you besides making a spk but I actually would like to hear more about your case on me again (specifically how I'm "different", when i think of what you should know of me from that one game a ""difference"" shouldnt be AI for me specifically)

Anyway, I thought as much yesterday but I really cannot read the game otherwise – Penguinos is just scum and Sword is the most logical partner to him.

Like I don't think a quickhammer like Penguinos's makes sense coming from a double lurker scumteam (as would be the case in a Penguinos/Mantis scumteam), Penguin would definitely be lynched from the heat of the quickhammer and I see zero reason for my slot to be flipped at any point. Stalling for the NL is much safer, especially considering that Transfinity still townread us (as in just Mantis).

Sword makes sense as the partner because Penguinos is just a strange slot to keep at a nullread considering the controversy around that slot and their lack of interaction together to absolve that seems unnatural to me.

I don't really mind being lynched because I really underestimated the speed of a blitz and I had zero time for this. I don't really get Mantis/Penguinos as a team considering that Penguinos was the only slot i actually pushed but like i guess my complete lack of presence impacted that. I'm hoping to at least amend my inactivity from yesterDay though

I'm not entirely sure what you want from me here tbh. I'm not quite good enough to articulate my feelings but if it's what you're asking, it's a feeling similar to when I looked at RC tunneling the 1 shot bp, thinking that slot was scum that I was replacing to be dunked, then finding out it was actually town and thinking "oh RC is just scum then". In that game I took the time to try to re-evaluate him and flipped that read because I didn't want to burden of proficiency, but this has the same feeling. If you're town then there's no way RC is also town.
