... Sorry about that, I seem to forgotten my standards. Truthfully, even at this point I still want the lynch, because in all honesty this day has just been lagging, and if there is any replacing needed, I see best that it done during the night anyways. This way we have a fresh start when entering the new day. Hopefully, the discussion will pick up more then, not that it did really today.

He's been really busy to my understanding, so it may be a while if we wish to wait for him. Without the threat of a deadline, I still feel comfortable where my vote is, so ^_^

If that's a lynch, then it's twilight right now and I should not be posting any relevant information.

Thanks for being patient guys! Anyway...

Uraj45 - 7 (Yanqush, mlaker, KingEnigma, Yoko Kurama, Dragon Phoenix, NanookTheWolf, Cubsfan4life)
Dragon Phoenix - 1 (dragonmaster)
gashlycrumb - 1 (Tigris)
Not voting - 3 (Uraj45, gashlycrumb, discer)

With the allotted seven of you needed for a lynch all in agreement in giving Uraj45 the heave-ho, he is duly led towards the gallows, and dragged kicking, high into the sky. His lips go blue, his eyes roll, and his tongue lolls out of one side, making him a very dead Uraj45.

The subsequent search of Uraj's house is
most
interesting - expensive wines, priceless paintings, and lots of fedoras. Yep - Uraj45 was the
Mafia Godfather
, intent on taking over the town of San Quida whether through hook or crook! This don won't be doing any more... er... donning... though. Because he's dead. Remember?

Anyway, it's (finally)
NIGHT
again! Yanqush and discer will be receiving mod-prods and will be replaced if I don't get a reply before Thursday, 9pm BST (GMT+1). Because of this possibility, although night is deadlined for Thursday, it may overrun. But get your choices in all the same!

OK, it's finally day again. I can only apologise for the length this night has taken; I've got no great excuses, it's largely been down to my incompetence. Sorry guys, I'll try to make sure it doesn't happen again. Anyway, first of all,
Corsato has replaced discer
. Many thanks to him!

Onwards...

Once again, the townsfolk return to the town square to see which amongst them have been brutally murdered during the night. To gasps of shock and horror, it transpires that Dragon Phoenix is missing - and nor is he at home. Inexplicably, the townsfolk search some local abandoned warehouses where they come across a most gruesome sight...

One large machine, labelled "Pizzamatron", a huge contraption with a large chute at one end, some unpleasant looking gears and shafts in the middle, and a conveyer belt at the other end. A lowering mechanism, set up above the entry-chute. A pile of freshly-baked Meat Feast Supreme pizzas. And, sitting beside the whole scene, Dragon Phoenix's favourite pair of shoes. He won't be wearing them again.

Dragon Phoenix was the
Thief
. He was able to break into one person's house each night, and steal anything of value they might have. Should he have made off with any ill-gotten gains, he would've put them to use - his victim would have taken to a life of crime themselves in order to reclaim their property.

Back in the town square and munching on fresh pizza for breakfast, the hunt resumes for the evil within San Quida... with 10 left alive, 6 votes are needed for a lynch! Start posting again!

Well, so when it said they went to a life of crime theirselves does that mean they became killers or something like that? Well those who didn't vote Uraj are those who are the direct thoughts of suspicion for me, I'll do some re-reading.

Thief probably turned the thiefee into a thief, not necessarily a killing role. We might very well only have the sk remaining, but I wouldn't bank on it.

We are in a really good position now as the town. We have 5 scum dead and only 5 pro-town dead. We likely only have 1-2 scum remaining, so let's not mess it up by not discussing things. Night one through 3 are likely not great for investigative, but last night we probably didn't have any role that could avoid detection (and we likely only had one during 1-3 (excepting Uraj of course)). So we can narrow things down with a few investigation results and then go from there.

Alternatively, using the last three lynch mobs is probably a good tactic (yes I realize that I didn't vote for Uraj, so if suspicion comes upon me for that, fine, at least it might help discussion). Problem with that though is the SK can easily fall through the cracks in that as they have no reason not to vote for mafia (as they wouldn't know who it was). If nothing else, a lurker hunt might be in order as there seem to be quite a few quiet people unfortunately :|

As Tigris said, we're now in a pretty good position. 10 of us are still alive, and there may only be one evil person left, since we only had one kill last night. [And it was a pretty good kill, too, since we lost someone evil, and we got free pizza to boot. Everyone likes pizza, right?]
I'm not quite sure I understand the thief role. If he's successfully stolen from anyone, the victim's been recruited into thiefdom... but what exactly does the thief do besides recruit other thieves? They sound evil, I assume they're anti-town. However, it doesn't sound like they can make night kills, so are they just an evil mason group? Would they be on the side of organised crime, or would they want the mafia as well as the town dead in their winning end-game scenario?

I think the thief steals things and learns what they are which can determine what that person is ie: they'll steal from Uraj and get expensive wines and priceless paintings. I think it's in an investigating role that can help not hurt the town.
