Shchadd what specific things are you talking about wrt your scumreads? You say that those reads are based off of things they have/haven't done meta wise, but you actually haven't told anyone what those things are

the only people i have a confident meta read on are aristo and dunnstral. what i'm thinking of creature is kind of informed by what i know of him but i have no idea how he does scum and i don't really know how he thinks as town even though we've played twice (one was a newbie that i don't retain much knowledge from and the other was a micro wherein no sorting happened)

dunnstral: i played two games with him: micro 684 where i correctly n1 vig'd him and open 675 where i hard townread him for pretty much as long as i was alive because of how different he felt. i remember him being agnostic and substantial when he was town and when he was scum he would float along and push his wincon. so, if he were town, i would expect him to, like, talk to me, attempt to make some sorting happen, since i had proven to be good at reading him for whatever reason (which is what i was referring to at the start of 136). he didn't do that at all, instead he immediately voted back and did a sort of simultaneous push and discredit in 142.

so the assumption that he's town for me would have to follow from an assumption that he would be super confident on a read of me from 5 posts, enough to want me to be hammered (without some sort of strong meta-y thing—i suppose that if he claims i don't know him he can't claim to know me), when he wasn't especially confident even after like 200 in the open i linked. and the scum narrative where he does remember that i could read him pretty well and just wants to get rid of me before i say anything makes sense with what i remember of his scum stuff.

aristo: not very sophisticated. in the game i played with him i correctly scumread him for injecting game stuff into his posts that felt contrived and not how i would expect him to want to talk about stuff (given what i saw of him in speakeasy &c actually) whereas this game he feels like he is addressing stuff he cares about and fluffing at other times when he feels like it. it just feels different and good.

Shadd's "scumread" of me off of one post is completely fabricated but for whatever reason he felt he had to include more names in his "reads list" such as it was.

i'm pretty sure you're allowed to sr from 1 post at page 3. like i don't know what rulebook you're using

31 reminded me of it, my thought with the quoted thing was "i need to do some sort of dialogue thing with this compelling person" and there's a sort of similarity in construction (u should have said a different innocuous thing) that has been salient for me in the past

so like my ideal lynch is dunnstral but uh idk that people are interested in that

creature looks like a possible second but i would rather not lynch yet him since, like, nothing seems super alignment indicative for him yet—i could reasonably see him coming to that conclusion about me as town, not having seen me busy and uh not enjoying pressure. and i also don't want to waste another game with him if that makes sense (he plays a lot and i want to figure him out sooner rather than later. the post count thing has always felt a bit balls)

Everything schadd just posted is somewhat reasonable/believable but not really giving me a strong feeling of "this is town thinking". Similar to Dark Horse I guess but I actually still lean scum on DH.

I've fine giving him more time or for more people to kick into gear. I'm going to try to inject some energy personally but that takes me getting myself ready, and you never know when anyone else will intervene to do the same.

I've always been a fan of longer days and have never really gotten the need to rush.
