You can't (at this moment) use it. I don't have permissions set up. Basically it was my way of compensating for the lack of a /home /sethome command. Once an official Release Build of bukkit comes out, you should have access to /sethome and /home commands, rendering Sortal Useless, other than for Admisn to take you to interesting builds.

The new spawn will be smack in teh center of the house. People can request plots, but they won't be "assigned" persay. Anyone who is already on the server will get first pick in plots, and will be offered a one-time chance to move whatever houses they want to the new plot.

You have complete control over your plot, who can walk in it, if everyone can, can they use chest? doors, switches? build/break? fire/tnt? mobs? pvp? and so on.

I much rather the idea that you can stop them from breaking in.

You don't have to build in spawn-town if you don't wish, you can build where you currently are. Thats also 100% fine. But you'll have access to a /sethome and /home command as well as /spawn to teleport back and forth from the town to your house, should you need to come to town for something.

And they have Beta Releases, but they have the bugs in them, like the aforementioned one.

If/when a recommend build for 1/2/4 comes out, I will let you know, and link you to the only plugins I think you'll need.

yes it does. THe border is easly, simply instal bukkit and worldedit for a short time to make a round walls of bedrock around the world, then go to your mods.

And WorldEdit is a command-based mod. For most of the tools, you use "//pos1" and "//pos2" (or left and right click with a wooden axe) to select an area, then use various commands to alter the blocks there. So to change everything selected to bedrock, I'd use "//set 7" - the set command changes all the selected blocks, and 7 is Bedrock's data value.

That would so badly lag a 256mb server to try to change millions of blocks at once.

Thats what caused this whole confusion in the first place is people like you that don't distinguish.

EST/EDT is the same as GMT/BST he thought he was in GMT right now. He is not. he is in BMT. But he didn't distinguish between them like you didn't.

EDT and EST are NOT the same thing. EST is GMT-5, EDT is GMT-4. If you don't distinguish between them, then you'll miss every event someone says is at such-and-such GMT time.

when you download it it has a BUNCH of .jars, the only one I think you'll need/want is essentials.jar. It is drag/droppable with a basic default configuration setup that I think you'll like.

If you ever install any other plugin as well however, you'll want GroupManager.

The grass is off-colored, because I took off the biome-colors so its is standard through every biome. I didn't notice the green was off-colored until AFTER i closed the customizer.

There is an AFK mode, you can set it to do a couple of things:

1. Auto-AFK or user-forced afk with /afk
2. When AFK, player can not be pushed/moved/is temporary godmoded
3. When AFK, players can not pick up items (prevent AFKing at spawners)
4. Auto-kick-after-X-seconds when AFK

1.2.5 won't be a problem, thanks to the pre-release that was explicitly stated will be the safe file as the release.

I use the first one to create plots in my town. The second one is a Standard API for anything economy-related that will hook into my economy plugin.

Basically, I have a plotsystem set up in a grid on the first one with a HUGE 800X800 block area as a claim, and smaller 33X33 block Subdivisions inside of it to rent to players.

I would love a way to Place a SIGN that "sells" subdivisions.

The simplest way I can think of to do this (I could be wrong, I have not extensively looked through grief-prevention's API hooks available) is when I stick a Sign with a specific Parameter on Line 1, it will search around it for the nearest Subdivision and then sell /trust and /permissiontrust to THAT subdivision for a configurable price on Line 3.

Maybe, after selling the plot, it re-writes line 2 to say "SOLD" and line 3 to be the new owners' name?

THere are a set of roles pre-defined in the plugin, then the moderator just assigns them and like types /start or whatever, then the days and nights follow an in-game cycle, with warnign when its nearly over and all players have access to the commands to talk/use their actions they would have.

I think it would be fun, and might get new mafia disciples

I REALLY don't like the $350 bill.

but its not as OPed as it sounds. the EXP for walking, you get 1EXP for every 100 blocks you walk, the Universal Exp you get like .1 EXP per stone mined, dirt shoveled, tree cut etc.

The Fly command is slightly overpowered, but it is what guarantees me the most donors, as there are about 3 people who would donate purely for the ability to fly.

The Tp position command I wasn't going to give to them, but i wanted to sweeten the deal.

WirelessRedstone is just like, amazing, and I would give it to everyone, but I really want some help with those dang bills.

You'd be surprised. Those larger serves probably pay upwards of $400 a month, but they turn a profit.

Thats my goal, is to hopefully at the very least make mine self-sufficient. I've now put in close to $200 of my own cash, but I hopw to make it self-sufficient/get some of my $$ back from this past 5 months.

and $350 a year. Thats nothing compared to many minecraft servers out there.

Maybe I can look at it to run two versions, or ask the dev how I can duplicate the plugin whilst renaming the command or something to allow for a PVP and a Build one.

Tbe build one is more fun, as you are likely to die, multiple times, repeatedly, in an endless cycle. But the PVP one (Should really be called PVE) just adds in that extra rule of "Oh and you can only die such and such times/restart such and such times"

Everything broke at build #2034, 1.2.3-R0.1B/1.1-R7. Most any plugin built for versions BEFORE #2034 has old names of events in it, that got changed with the new code.
