Gypyx responded to me asking if he was scum for the wording of his (joke?)claim by townreading me. Given the range of possible reactions to that exchange, a townread seems to be more townie than scum reactions, where omgus or overreaction would have been clearly scummy. I'm actually inclined to say that specific reaction is the towniest thing I've seen yet in this game, so GX is probably my top town as of page 6 or wherever we're at.

As an aside, I'm not sure that saying scummy things for the sake of building interactions is a particularly townie process of playing RVS

well like i said there, i just wasnt engaged with that thread. normally i post more like this. that game taught me i dont like mech games. i especially didnt like how a few mech-strong players dominated things and pushed through a plan that i thought (and rightly so) would doom town. that game was not fun for me, and my posting reflected that. this game already seems to have a very interesting setup but i like boon's philosophy of relying mostly on dayplay. even if im not the best scummer, dayplay is at the least fun. i like scumhunting, manipulating idiot townfools, and murdering innocents.

So the purpose behind showing my scumgames to people was to help see how the plist interacts with me when I give a clear opportunity to meta me. How they approach me, and what they conclude and in what context.

If I explain further, and say how I use this to help deduce alignment, it ruins the fact that I gave meta in the first place.

And I'm expecting you to use meta because I would think you'd know that "Gamma looks scummy" isn't good reasoning when one is aware of how I generally come across, and it's even worse when you are saying my play is different to a scumgame I just played but still opt to push it. I wouldn't feel shitty if Vax flips town or scum here. It may be a necessary flip. That's kinda how I felt about Gamma in mbos. My two partners were sure on that execution and I agreed for the points. So that's sort of evidence he's scum but not really.

I feel ok with HBB and gypyx but not confident enough to block. That's particularly true about gypyx. I have reason to think he may be scum, but I don't want to get into it right now in case it's wrong. Time will tell. I feel like Bell hasn't obvtowned yet, but I don't feel he's scum either. Taly, what do you think of the way HUB approached the Tsunami/Vax wagon? I'm in two minds about it.

On one hand, he didn't bus and continued to say the slot is probably town, which is a weird way to treat a doomed partner, but on the other, his loss of motivation would fit how a scum partner would feel about Tsunami's slot getting heat for the reasons that it did.
