I have no idea who natsu's partner is, I kinda am dreaming I get nightkilled by the scum to shut me up but that's probably too optimistic given the wagon, but it'd be nice if we could get back on that

idk I don't know that hard pushing a scumread guarantees you get lynched on a greenflip? it's not like you're faking a guilty given its day 1, that's more just a sign that you're ready for day 1 to end which is not an unreasonable feeling to have if you feel good about a read

yeah deliberately acting like lynchbait, interpreting any positive interaction as pocketing, and refusing to explain reads is like a trifecta of all the reasons this game is needlessly difficult and overly antagonistic. I wouldn't particularly want her in lylo which probably guarantees she goes to lylo

Not really, I'm trying to understand the read and see if I'm missing something in my read there. I thought that some of his questions toward you about his connection to Natsu were okay and I kinda liked his tone early. Just not sure what's jumping out to you as scummy?

I think in the last game I played with him he took my initial post, said I was scum for the post, announced that he should be townread for saying I was scum for the post, and then subsequently said I should be immediately lynched on page 2, or something like that. I'll try to find the game
I've kinda already spoiled it but put it aside for the moment and reading his posts on page 1-2 of that game what would you think his alignment would be?

It looks like Hectic townreads Natsu for pushing him for shitposting in RVS and Natsu townreads Hectic for 'how he responded to pressure' when he was wagoned in RVS, or at least that's where their townreads began
I'm not sure either is a particularly convincing reason as they're both pretty subjective and contingent on what you expect scum to be doing in that gamestate, but I'm not sure they are intrinsically scummy reactions. I don't like Natsu's reads generally but not because of that read specifically

Honestly now that I'm not pumped on adrenaline I'm not even sure I'd slayer's gambit him, but he does seem lowest in my PoE.
Honestly I just don't like very much in his iso. I feel like his reads in the early game are a little bit similar to mine, but then he scumreads me instead of mindmelding with me which is weird. He seems to deliberately go out of his way to not understand how if he asks me about the second thing in a list, then I will point him to the first thing in his list.
I think my biggest problem with him is here:

I really don't get why anyone has a townread on Pikachu unless they know his playstyle. Luca said it best already:

That's most of what I've been focusing on. I'm townreading Luca and 72offsuit, even though they are scumreading me. Mainly because a lot of their reads on me have solid substance, I just don't think they know the kind of player I am.
dkkoba and dsjstr have been nulls. But dkkoba's middle of the wagon vote seems like a cozy way to push me to a lynch. I can foresee this type of vote not running into as much flak as Pikachu's or Spy's once I flip green. dkkoba is mainly going off of tone it seems. I'll admit I'm kind of doing that with R1 as well, but the way he sees both R1 and Pikachu's tones as townie is alarming to me.
I find dsjstr's scumteam of me and Hectic odd. He has never really explained this despite the pestering.
Spy is interesting and I don't know what to make of them.

Can you explain your scum reads on both me and Pikachu?
This reads list looks very political based more on who is likely to be lynched rather than anything else. His reads seem to revolve around who is or isn't scumreading him the most intensely and who or isn't pushing his counter-wagons. He emphasizes a townread on Luca, who hasn't actually joined the wagon on him and who was at the time still voting his counter-wagon, and nulls players that are less committed in their positions on his wagon. He also more or less matches what I'd expect scum to be doing in this gamestate, i.e. negging and taking pot shots at me for playstyle issues rather than hard pushing me or putting themselves at risk of blowback after I flip.
This just basically looks like a scum reads list to me, more meant to allow the trajectory of current wagons to continue rather than solve the game

For me, mostly though PoE to be honest, I feel like I can see reasons to townread almost everyone else in the game. Which means I'm wrongly townreading someone, but it makes me feel like if Natsu is town here then both scum are doing a good job at faking town tones? idk
Like looking through even the quieter slots and going back I'm like, "nah I don't really see reasons to second guess a townread here" quite yet

It's a block, i.e. Group, of people that you believe are town and believe that other people in the game should see as town as well. Some games are predicated around townblocking rather than scumhunting, in fact (coalition is won if the town 'townblocks' 5 people on day 1)

Yes, incorrect townblocks is how scum wins the game very often. But correct townblocks is how town wins the game so it's really just another foil for talking about reads

He thinks that not wanting to work together with a town block but not attacking the inclusion of members directly is scummy. Effectively he was asking for your initial take on his reads and you came off as defensive, if I understand his reasoning. Now in this case you didn't understand the concept, but since you didn't react the way he expected town to act, isn't he justified from his point of view in suspecting you?

Natsu can I say that if you're scum here, you shouldn't feel bad about being scumread day 1. Playing scum is very difficult, especially when you're not feeling well. I think you've actually done a pretty good job regardless of alignment and I hope you aren't soured on mafia because of this game because I think overall you're a fine player. If you're town, sorry if this post sounds weird but thankfully I'll probably get lynched tomorrow anyway so then you can gloat in the dead thread for me being so wrong on you
Anyway yeah no point of leaving on L-3, he can go to l-2

Pedit means "Preview Edit." I believe in this case you meant "ebwop," or "edit by way of post." Also, adding a vote to the next post after you've done a wall-case usually does not require an "ebwop" since it's kinda obvious what's going on.

hypoclaim is a debatable practice whereby everyone claims their hypothetical tracker target/inno so that if the tracker dies his inno is revealed to the town
the merit is that tracker innos get outed
the con is that tracker is more likely to get outed and shot at night
It also should only be done at the end of the dayphase rather than the beginning of the dayphase because if done too early in the dayphase it makes it easier for scum to figure out which is real or not
some people don't like it because it's a distraction as well and tends to get people into NAI debates/fights
also if this is a mason's game then it would be really distracting/pointless
