So the way the mech works, no-killing doesn't change the availability of doing a "bet the game on peta town and win" solve. But it stalls and creates an addition moment for us to reconsider a different win condition player. So that would be the only motivation.

i told y'all from the jump that i was working with an annoying schedule. i am teaching directly via zoom from 7 to 5, five days a week. i made efforts to contribute in spite of that. i went into D2 perfectly transparent about where my head was at, and that i wanted to take the time to reorganize my thinking. i mentioned outright that my building's reopening and the bullshit surrounding that would factor into my time in-thread. instead, i got three bad faith pushes - one from scum i'd been casing since d1, another from one *half* of a hydra who was stuck in tunnelmode (and who against my better judgment, i tunneled right back lmao), and dat, who was more than happy to coast along with the garbage case given by skimplo & coax the mislim - i have zero regrets abt the BB vote but at the

least they had some bite to their read and made an effort to make it make sense in the context of the game. i'm not going to invest any time in threadcrawling or getting into any back-and-forth over this

I know this was a big problem and everyone I talked to was not sure how to handle it.
The wiki did not specify which was really bizarre so I ended up deciding yes multitasking no daytalk. But since the wiki didn't disclose that it felt like something not-public that should not be revealed? Which I know sounds bizarre. That was my thought process; if I ran another Open I'd definitely just disclose this stuff in pre-game.

those notes are pretty much standard for what goes through my brain when rolling scum but i am glad people could get some enjoyment out of that

i loved playing with this playerlist, despite me losing my shit every time a misyeetable player repped out and a strong town player repped in

that fucking night 1 killed my soul

i retrospect i'm annoyed i didn't ~effort~ more after that considering how even with that n1, it was so close, and it would've been much a tougher lylo if there wasn't a jk alive i'm sure, but that's the game

setups are overrated, be like me and just ignore that part of the game

i can honestly say i still don't understand the setup at this point (i took in gyp for that reason)

Oh right - i think that daytalk should be the default for these sorts of setups (pyp, c9++ and varients, etc)

I've been in a couple of iterations now when scum havent had it, and i think it makes it a lot harder on them than it needs to be, especially since daytalk is the norm in most other parts of the site at this point

A few times i've seen mods just going off of the wiki pages for these, a bunch of which indicate no daytalk or are ambiguous about daytalk - maybe we can make changes on tbe wikis to indicate that daytalk is ok?

I'm p sure most people would agree with me here that scum should have daytalk, or at the very least it should be clear if they do or do not
