The firefighter douses the trees with water, but they are primed by what is implied to be a gas or oil based reagents. Water isn't a very effective extinguisher for fires based on gas or oil so the setup spreads dangerous misinformation about fire safety.

FTR I'm still not convinced this setup is fair to scum, EVwise it seems pretty similar to other setups but since dousing a stump in gasoline is such an absurd play and doing multiple ignites is an absurd play it's basically a nightless setup. And towns have been stomping scum in nightless setups in the current meta with EVs as low as like 32%. At a bare minimum this is closer to balanced if the Firefighter is a named townie rather than an actual power role but removing it entirely probably isn't overkill

The risk reward on that is really good
if you guess right and it was bussing, you win the game
if you guess wrong, the scumteam pretty likely viewed that player as a threat and covered them in gas, because they didn't expect us to view it as bussing, they expected it to just be a player that was harsh on Ydrasse and should be cleared for it. So then there will be a missing NK and there's an additional chop
