I was town, being HARD pushed by Formerfish. One player jumped in and started defending me equally hard without really touching on what the others thought made me scum.

Turns out the one being pushed and the one pushing were town sorting, and the one defending for shaky reasons was scum. I'm feeling a lot of similarities here so I think it's a possibility.

I was always planing on writing a few posts wraping up my general thoughts. 602 is where I mentioned that I was going to touch up on it, and I followed through on that.

As for this itself, one thing I saw a lot in Luca's ISO was that he was leaving a lot of room in how he was talking about reads for things to change, and he was doing this about like, mostly everything. It really bothered me. He did it for you, he did it for Klick, he did it for Datisi. His play really came across as adjusting his reads to tailor to what was going on at the time.

It wasn't, it was for me to get up to speed and caught up.

None of this is how I see things. You had 'intention' to do those things, but instead during your catchup you decided to completely ignore the relevant stuff. You say you did it for yourself and to get 'caught up', but failed to provide any meaningfull response to actual things happening in game and started pushing your own narrative. Revisiting this later, once we have a flip.

Guess I misunderstood you saying "come to terms". I just felt that mine and Ali's reasons are kinda close, so I didn't get why accept mine but not theirs.

Also I have a faint memory of someone saying something along the lines of "Ali explained their reads while Datisi gave shit vague explanations", but at this point I have no idea if that actually happened and who said it if it did.

With Ali pushing strong against Luca and me, and me having claimed cop, I thought there was a decent chance Ali would be alive.
The benefit would be to have confirmation of what is the loudest and most interesting slot in this game.

Imagine a D2 where both Datisi and Ali are alive?
There's also something of an ease of mind that I could come into D2 and just know what's up with Ali.

I do not have an answer to this, but I consider it fully possible they chose an agressive strong town player over a player who claimed cop way too early and that there is a decent chance that was a fake claim. Not to mention the possibility of a protective being on a claimed cop.

I don't get NK'd, I target town. You don't have to worry about me because town can confirm me.
I don't get NK'd, I target scum. I have a 1v1 with scum tomorrow and the lynchpool is that much smaller.

The ONLY scenario that you actually have to worry about is the 3rd, because I 'could' gambit with my partner. But by having everyone else decide my target or 2, that possibility is severly diminished.

Luca, if Tchill is scum then he deliberately chose not to NK me in order to wifom the crap out of my claim. If he's scum, he knows i'm town and it's probably a PR in any case. He could opt to kill the threat that is Ali, and wait to kill me the next day but I strongly doubt scum would actively try to mislynch me.

A game I recently played had a town player who faked a guilty on his scumread, then got CC'd by someone who cleared that 'guilty' the same night and he was on the speedwagon to Lynchville if it wasn't for me stopping that lynch and townreading the fakeclaim. We proceeded to lynch back to back scums and win the game.

It's all about perspective and how you deal with it.

did you know i was in a semi-recent game (as VT) where this town dude faked a guilty on his scumread and got CC'd by town on his target (innocent).
He was being quicklynched when it turned out it was actually a fake like you've never seen, and I stepped in and hard-townread the fake guilty.

Ended up not lynching him and got back to back scum off of that

Beyond the surface-level 'would this scumteam kill Alisae last night' stuff, no, I haven't been looking much at pre-flip associatives. I did skim the double-ISO of you and Luca a bit as part of Tchill's game, but nothing really stood out to me one way or another.
He doesn't come to that conclusion due to associations.
