I haven't found any reasonable argument against openclaiming. I wouldn't do it with certain player fields that I am confident to read me well, and I can see an argument for not claiming if you're trying to keep cop equity and if your kill create cop hunt cleared town. The fact is, claiming miller on later gamedays isn't as believable, and claiming miller after getting peeked scum will get you lynched everytime. Certain players with certain fields in certain games can play it in a different way, but this is not the game for that.

I wanna say this post is a little scummy. Bare in mind this is extremely thin, and I don't want to out all the reasons for it. But this is too much commentary instead of adding something to the discussion. Your post is fine otherwise, I get where you're coming from etc. Just think it comes more from scum than town.

No you got that wrong too. Here's a history of the Maria wagon. Note 1. It takes 7 to lynch 2. Skitter was not 'always on' but jumped on at the end 3. Mulch and BBT were on for multiple VCs too.

Also, the fact that it is Day 2 and I can't describe a *single* valid stance from either Misere or BBT off the top of my head I think that, in and of itself, is highly valid grounds to lynch them because if they're scum, grand, and if they're town we don't want them at mylo since they'll always be a slot we should get dead.

But the argument against lynching them is super empty - that they have done nothing but basically empty vote isn't a town tell, that makes them a valid lynch whether or not they are low posters, and frankly I suggest low posters are more valid for that case.

While it is possible for fruit vendor and tracker to be on the same side, they serm ideal to be opposed to each other, as the fv can give the tracker a false positive. I don't think anything here clears the misere/havingfitz slot at all, since they could have been lurking on the Havo wagon.

I think HEM and Mulch both come out looking okay from this. Me too.

It strikes me as odd that Toranaga is the only one who seems utterly outraged by the votes on the evolving Havo wagon post "softclaim". He has been trying to use it as a club to beat on first me then Mulch and Havo for over two weeks. And he and skitter were the only ones who jumped off the Havo wagon really quickly post softclaim, which is what i would expect scum to do. I think Toranaga comes out looking worst from this.

Yep, you're absolutely right. Now i realise when i chose that colour i was only thinking of Virtuoso's colour. Sorry! I use that purple-pink colour a lot because not many mods reserve it. Hopefully this is okay?

I thought BBT was possibly a PR and rather scummy when that seemed not to be the case, but it's not a strong case. I could possibly lynch him depending on whether he has convincing reasons for at least some of his reads.

A pertinent fact about the MariaR lynch that needs to be pointed out to the newcomers is that Fykus, who flipped green, accidentally hammered her. It is entirely possible that, had that not happened, the wagon would have faded away in time. This is something Porkens appeared to miss in his rush to judgement.

Skitters talked TO mulch about mulch but never gave a read on him at all.
Thus, Mulch scummy.

This is the other post where he purports to give reasons. But not really. He claims to suspect Mulch on the basis of associations with me but has given NO reasons for suspecting me, so it is without foundation.

The only other thing he has here is tired old shit about the Havo wagon. Nothing original there.

On the whole, and given this was the BBT slot, I'm happy lynching it.
