Yeah sure but you're not going to get anything useful unless you lynch me tomorrow, right? You don't know what sanity you are. And if you're doing it for "paranoia" reasons, that's just a shitty hole I don't want to get into because even though I know my alignment, you're not going to take my word for it to check against your result. The only way to check your sanity, and even then only probable sanity until you get multiple checks against multiple flips, is by investigating then lynching the same target. If you plan on pushing for my lynch tomorrow already, that's a different story. I hope that's not the case because then this becomes less paranoia and more scum planning.

So if we are all agreed that we lynch the hydra tomorrow, checking them tonight will give us results to compare against the lynch tomorrow and give us a jump start on figuring out sanities.

The check target is someone who scum don't want to kill for obvious reasons. So we consistently cop the highest town reads and skilled players. Eventually scum have to shoot the skilled players, we get scum lynches, or we get tangible proof of agency capture (meaning scum lead town by buddying or being townread).

This dillema helps protect our best players or gives us a wealth of information when scum were already going to kill someone.

Plus, this has us remove the noise to get to a healthier gamestate.

So, I want to cop you or Gork tonight because of how smart you both are.

The reason behind putting all of our investigations together is that 2/3 of them are completely useless results. If we circle investigate, not only do we gain no information about alignments, we gain no information about the identities of people who might be in groups. I'm ok with none of those right now. Penguin is clearly overwhelmed town. A50 is much more charismatic as scum than town. These three feel like low hanging fruit more than scum.

I must have missed this. Scum are guaranteed to be one of each, so identifying the random cops narrows the list considerably to finding the likely scum in the list of randoms.

The best way to do that is to have a cop check on a known alignment. Then we'll have Four pools.

A: Target Town + Result Town- Naive/Sane/Random
B: Target Town + Result Scum - Paranoid/Insane/Random
C: Target Scum + Result Town - Naive/Insane/Random
D: Target Scum + Result Scum - Paranoid/Sane/Random

The next check should target someone who should be the opposite target of what your result was. Since I got a scum result, I should favor checking a lean town read. By getting a different result, then we can eliminate certain sanities and get a cross reference. We should have two targets, neither of whom is SCBA.

We can build upon the Jingle check SCBA did, even if it is a lie. We have the players who got scum on SCBA check Jingle. SCBA checks a target along with those who got town on him.

This way if SCBA is lying scum, then we have an accurate result somewhere. Yet, if he's town and accurate we keep having him build out his checks.

This is of course assuming I am outvoted on lynching SCBA.

We are in the the worst case scenario for Night Actions. What I'm talking about is if we had been in the best case scenario for night results, we could be at a virtually unwinnable for scum position, and ETL saw how to make that happen over the night phase but didn't act on it. That is 100% of my argument for saying that from NKA, ETL is 99.9999% town. My townread there is solid. Once I flip, treat her like a goddamned IC.

As far as Porkens, he was a townread in the very early game, (which I talked about), that slipped farther into null when he didn't continue making the town noises. I didn't want to lynch there, but I wasn't especially opposed to the lynch. At the time of his hammer, I was actually fine with a Porkens lynch going through.

The problem with Nos's hammer isn't that she hammered Porkens. It's that she hammered Porkens right after a wagon started forming on her, with the clear knowledge that a significant number of people already found her suspicious, after doing a bunch of mental gymnastics to justify voting him. In a plurality setup.

My other big suspects at the moment are 1 of {You/Pun}, A50, and Titus. Titus is the presumed cop target tonight, and frankly, her response to that makes me think she might be town. A50 is the weakest possibility of the lot, and frankly, I'm not particularly interested in the you/pun 1v1 today so that whichever of you is town gets as much time as possible to gamesolve.

I don't agree with the hydra TR. Draynth is kinda town by PoE. Right now, I'm seeing the 180s on Jingle's logic as agenda driven. But, to those who don't believe my words and actions on why Pun would have killed me last night as scum, just look through Pun's ISO on how they treat and talk to me. It paints a pretty clear story.

Punreader can't be scum with eddie because of that, plus the fighting throughout the game between these two slots wasn't theater. There's no way in hell it was.
Punreader can't be scum with jjh927 because Punreader's trajectory today towards that slot isn't theater. Punreader would be pushing eddie much harder in that case, or at least 'solve' the game as something that's not eddie/jjh. Even with an assumption that they're trying to play around me gets stretched reeeeeal thin at this gambit.
Punreader can't be scum with Titus because... well, both of them are much better scum than what would have to have happened this game to make sense. Almost50 was always going to be lynched eventually this game unless both Punreader and Titus shield him indefinitely. Punreader would have to have been pushing for a bus instead of a town counterwagon (and, I should also mention, bussing is something that Punreader is NOT a fan of). Titus would have had to fold on her own counterwagon onto her partner when it became available. Titus would have to be STILL deathtunneling that slot today. It just doesn't make any sense from two players who are far better than this as scum.

This VC shows nigh-proven dueling town wagons. If both lynches were on town, pun didn't care where they were. Thus, it can be reasonably inferred you do not have a punbloc. From this, you can also reason that it is a fair assumption you're looking generally at one pun on each wagon and one pun off.
