I do however believe they have a way to increase other players corruption. Increasing everyone's corruption as scum again is OP. Maybe they have a limit on how many people they can increase. Just for you bananacucho: indicating you have a special role without elaborating is usually to earn brownie points for "revealing" details but without giving the whole of your role away, or leaving a telling hint regarding it, it doesn't actually point to any alignment. Now, obviously, some parts of your role were revealed to us by the mod through the vc. I know that's out of your hands. But it doesn't make sense to entertain someone's thoughts about your role this way; not outside of how your role would interact with Bee's FC'd role. In other words, it's strange to engage in convo about what alignment your role seems to lean to rather than the sheer mechanics of it, especially now, and especially when you're not going to get into all the details of your role right now anyways.
Not to mention: no one would sus you for clearly not being included in the vc in any way. We'd wonder about what your role is exactly, sure, but you didn't wait for us to cross that bridge. And you didn't actually need to "explain" any bit at all.

Don't take this as me asking for a full role reveal. I'm not asking for that; don't claim if it's not imperative, yada yada.

What do you think of porkens/red/alligator?

Regarding red and alligator they both have the same problem in my mind. Very low posts, mostly devoid of content. And no non-RVS votes between them as I pointed out in 238 and 239. As we're almost halfway through day 1 I'd like to either see more content from them, or I'd be okay with cutting either of them loose. Alligator is a bit worse imo, at least red interacted with me a bit.

As far as porky goes, I like them so far. I really liked their questioning of the town reads on Rat, which is something that didn't really make sense to me either. They've done more in their few posts since subbing in than at least 3 other players.

On the one hand. I like that Red is questioning my role. I actually don't like it, as he's drawing attention to it, which I think several other people have kinda clued on to not draw attention to it, but it comes off as someone who doesn't townread me (most of the town reads I've seen on myself seem to be based on tone) which goes against the grain, when the easy position for a low-content scum right now is to go with the flow and try to push the attention elsewhere, like onto Jackel. Other than Redtea, I haven't really seen anyone doubting me, at least not that I remember in the last few IRL days which is making me a bit paranoid of a deep pocket play.

On the other hand, a pre-flip association on me/you based off of me backing off of you quickly on a question feels kinda... lazy?

I think, personally, I'd be willing to keep Redtea around for the next day. If anything for going against the grain and giving a different perspective. What do you think?

I dislike this post: the first response doesn't really convey anything beyond a disagreement, and it's quite clear bee's slot was posting less enthusiastically compared to the initial pages where they gambited. Both this one and the second response feel forced/made up. NDMath has not really left any impression at all on either of us apart from this and that's concerning.

I want to talk about the shifts in scumreads when I posted my list; everyone’s attention went to red/alligator which is great, it’s just not normal/expected, you know? The game doesn’t work like that if town are correct on their reads. I need someone to exchange their own reads with me so I can bounce some ideas

The thing about Starbuck that I like is that they pointed out the policy-feel type push on Jackel. Jackel had like 4 posts for the majority of the game. I still don't see how anyone got a scum read on those 4 posts, even on the surface level. From a POE level, sure. There's so many people that I see with townie motivations this game that it's easy to peg someone who is nonexistent as the POE'd scum.

Talk to me Norwee, Banana. From what I recall a stump is somebody who can't do anything, can they be mafia or only town? You've been acting like it from a tone post, but I saw that you don't like tone reads so instead I'll ask you if you could tell me what you think of RedTea, Beeboy hydra, and dumb and dumber if you don't mind?

From my experience, the only time that I've encountered a stump is in the mafia custom game of starcraft II, and it was a coded role that was forced upon certain punished players (cheating, griefing, hacking, etc). And being punished as such, they were a citizen (town) without a vote. I haven't personally seen it used in a forum game.

Now this themed game is very interesting though. I'm only a stump now. Hopefully, I'll grow into a tree that can toss apples (actually vote lol). If I am never corrupted, I'll be a stump forever I guess

I don't hate tone reads per say. But most of the town reads on me appeared to be based on tone, which is a bit unnerving.

As far as those 3 players go:

Redtea - 50/50. Could be scum, but my hunch is lurky town. I did like that they offered a different perspective on myself, and as a mostly universal town read / town lean, optimal scum strategy while in the hole like they are doesn't seem to be to call out someone like myself, but rather go after someone that could be counter wagoned instead of themselves. That being said, they didn't actually vote me or push the issue, so it could just be for show. But I wouldn't want to see them lynched day 1.

Bee. Bee, I liked Bee when they kicked off the game with their fake claim. I liked Bee when the fake claim got outed. I think I still like them, it seemed like they disappeared for a bit after they were outed as fake. I kinda chalked this up to apathy, but the thing that's been festering for me is that it seems to me that one head was the disappointed one yet they both disappeared during that apathy phase. Double D has expressed this same concern - and they (Bee) never actually addressed it when they returned

I dislike this post: the first response doesn't really convey anything beyond a disagreement, and it's quite clear bee's slot was posting less enthusiastically compared to the initial pages where they gambited. Both this one and the second response feel forced/made up. NDMath has not really left any impression at all on either of us apart from this and that's concerning.

I apologize for my lack of engagement thus far. When I repped into the game things were just fine, but then my life quickly spun out of control.
