Latias town read is a really easy one to fabricate as well as weasel out of. I don't think a horrible ISO is disregarded just because someone is talking about inning an event.

I think you have overestimated the devotion to my initial read on Latias/Latios. My reads are going to be pretty fluid, especially early on. I felt Latias/Latios had the worst ISO at the time but nothing I could explicitly call scummy. Their later posts like the ones I quoted exhibited a pretty casual attitude surrounding the event which I find more likely to come from town than scum.

Coming off of Titus v. Alisae I expect town!Titus to engage me immediately and want to sort me as soon as possible so we can get a similar thing going that we had there. She did this.

Out of everything to break the trollyness with, I think that the Hectic post restriction is a safe place for scum to act like they're contributing without actually saying anything.

In contrast, I feel that Flavortown's progression from troll posts to game content is a lot better. Nothing ground breaking, but actual opinions on players that they can be held accountable for rather than post restriction speculation.

If you skim through Spiff's ISO, you can see that there is almost NO ATTEMPT WHATSOEVER to sort Imperium, but he dedicates a lot of his time denying reads on Imperium, while having no idea what Imperium is. I've always looked at that behaviour as more scum. If you don't think they're town, then why aren't you pushing to confirm your theory? You're sitting on an unexplained read, denying any and all town reads on that slot, without even trying to see whether the reasoning that is given is justified. By denying the reads, you're essentially saying "I can see why he's being town read, but I actively choose to deny town reads on them anyway". Why? If you think they're such weak scum that you can - in your own words - find them on Day 2, wouldn't you be more likely to believe they're just town here? I don't see the connections in your head, it feels a lot more like you don't want Nacho and Tammy to be town read because they can push scum and are powerful town. If you were town, wouldn't you want to harness that strength out of them and work with them? Instead you're doing your best to turn down reads on them.

THAT IS NOT A NATURAL TvT interaction between two slots that have previously played together. There is no town motivation behind denying reads on a player that YOU HAVE NO STANDING ON. You're more worried about the power and credit they're getting, even though I don't really see why it would be such a problem? They literally claimed, you have no reaction based on that post.

I have made attempts to sort them, a few of which you've linked below, and, newsflash, maybe the fact that I've been so hard on them is because I want to gauge how they react to me when they return? I've explained already that I'm really waiting for Tammy to get engaged in the game because I think I will get a more concrete read on their slot the more content she provides. So I think it's disingenuous to act like I'm not trying to sort them when I've been pretty clear on my path forward regarding their slot. This was the part of the game I was dreading because I was like oh great nacho's gonna scum read spiffeh because nacho always scum reads spiffeh (am i right about that?) and he's gonna feel so right because his surging confidence eclipses my uncertainty to where it causes me distress and makes things no fun. SO, I'm letting him do his thing to get his read and work on my own so that I can either argue with him or listen to him.

Oh stepping out of the sidelines for a minute because this was one of nacho's concerns the other night, and I don't have any issue with the actual read because I've generally liked latixs :p but I understand Nacho's concern with the reasoning. What real unnecessary attention does anyone bring to themselves by admitting this though? It's not really scum indicative to camp out for the events because it's equally important for town and scum to play and win events. I guess I took Disaster's claim there as a joke rather than as an actual accusation for that reason. So how much negative attention is really brought to themselves for admitting something that most people in the game would be feeling regardless of alignment because mini games are life (until you get a penalty and then shit is real.)

But why is that alignment indicative really in this specific instance?

Idk there was a certain candidness and openness to those two posts that really made me think they were town. I would argue that scum have more incentive to join events in general (which I'll probably get more shit for) because if they are diligent they could box out town and consistently deny town the money and therefore the power. Scum wouldn't want town to catch onto this, and therefore I would expect them to be a little more self-conscious about announcing their intention to join the event if they were scum.

Clearly most people disagree with me since everyone's scum reading me for it but I've found that when I get ~vibes~ like this they are right more often than not. And Latias/Latios have improved as the game's progressed so I'm just gonna say I was right again!

I think Titus' approach to me has been pretty scummy

I understand that she would be looking to work with me after Titus v. Alisae

But I feel like she came into this game with a "let me work with Spiffeh" mindset instead of a "let me get a read on Spiffeh so I can work with him" mindset, which is an important distinction. It feels more like she's trying to get on my good side rather than genuinely get a read on me.

I didn't hate her initial engagement with me even though it was a little too ~moonlogic~y for my liking, but I think her immediate vote for Smol Might following me is a huge red flag. She has not done the due diligence that I would expect from town!Titus before buddying me to this extent and has written me off as town too easily.

There's also the minor point that gobble has done a complete 180 on posting style which makes it hard to even get a read on that head. So yeah they probably just rolled scum this game.

To my knowledge, very few to no other players have provably shown they can differentiate my towngame from my scumgame accurately to a high level.

Alright. I have already touched on some of the stuff that bothered me, but I'll do a complete ISO scan.

Interactions with Imperium slot

p#163 is horrible enough to warrant this explanation. I always look at posts like these and immediately get gut pinged "scum", mainly because I take it as someone looking to replicate previous interactions / rekindle previous memories that would make someone just feel well with regards to their alignment (Spiffy's). Not to say this couldn't be said by a town but I just think it's a weird thing to focus on,

especially when they haven't even posted.

I feel as though a more town way of reacting to slots that you have some history with is to just let them post, and joke with them, rather than just leaving a comment there. I may be biased, but saying it before a slot has even posted feels a lot more like a scum pussy move. You don't say it as a joke while interacting with them, because you don't know how they'd react. Also, it's much more likely when they're doing that catchup, they'll see the post and think "heh, this is town spiffy".

If you skim through Spiff's ISO, you can see that there is almost NO ATTEMPT WHATSOEVER to sort Imperium, but he dedicates a lot of his time denying reads on Imperium, while having no idea what Imperium is. I've always looked at that behaviour as more scum. If you don't think they're town, then why aren't you pushing to confirm your theory? You're sitting on an unexplained read, denying any and all town reads on that slot, without even trying to see whether the reasoning that is given is justified. By denying the reads, you're essentially saying "I can see why he's being town read, but I actively choose to deny town reads on them anyway". Why? If you think they're such weak scum that you can - in your own words - find them on Day 2, wouldn't you be more likely to believe they're just town here? I don't see the connections in your head, it feels a lot more like you don't want Nacho and Tammy to be town read because they can push scum and are powerful town. If you were town, wouldn't you want to harness that strength out of them and work with them? Instead you're doing your best to turn down reads on them.

THAT IS NOT A NATURAL TvT interaction between two slots that have previously played together. There is no town motivation behind denying reads on a player that YOU HAVE NO STANDING ON. You're more worried about the power and credit they're getting, even though I don't really see why it would be such a problem? They literally claimed, you have no reaction based on that post.

P#460 is another example, you have no standing on the slot, you DEMAND a town read on yourself, instead of ASKING WHAT THEIR READ IS ON YOU SO YOU CAN SORT THEM.

P#833 another interaction with Imperium, you joke with them.

P#835 dismissing the slot, looking to distance from them. Why???

Spiffy has done nothing but discrediting and shading the Imperium slot so they wouldn't gain the power of leading lynches. He does nothing to sort them still, every time he gets the chance to engage one of them, he chooses to joke with them instead. This is not town behaviour. If you are town and truly afraid of Imperium gaining power, you wouldn't shut it down without having a read on them, you'd first sort them and then argue.

Ircher is playing like he did in DEFCON 4.0, blunt, not really caring how people perceive him. To be fair I haven't ever seen scum Ircher but nothing really pings me about his posts.

There's also the fact that SirCakez's approach to me this game makes perfect sense based on his experience with me, and I just don't think this is his scum game. I feel like he wouldn't be so hard on me if he were scum and he'd eventually transition to town reading me in an attempt to buddy me, but he's held pretty firm on not letting me get away with not answering his questions which says to me that he really wants to figure out my alignment.

There was one post from Ausuka I liked during my reread though, so they're not really a priority for me atm

Not sure. I need to finish putting together my townreads/townleans. I stopped trying to come up with the best day one lynch a long time ago; my philosophy now is that as long as a lynch doesn't happen in my town reads and is within my pool of people that I'm okay with being lynched, I'm fine. It's so much less stressful this way.

Hope to finish up with those pools tomorrow. But I think we differ on a couple people. One significant one is Searchers. Can you talk about why you think that Ircher is the most transparently town person in the game? I've had a pretty decent scum read there for the majority of the game. Nacho likes a couple Ircher posts and think they're pretty townie where I'm just like eh those can also be scum trying to look protown. (granted Nacho has probably not really read much past page 20 or so, so. Anyway what am I missing there?

Also why do you have feminist as a scum read? I think their posts are generally fine. But since i've been back scum have hidden in my read of I like their posts they're generally fine, so what are you seeing because they don't look like scum.

The percentage of CO's dialogues that are questions is very high. Among those, there are plenty of questions designed to steer another CO towards her point of view. If I remember right, CO Ausuka was scum that game. I'm too lazy to check.
After this review, I think too much of this overlaps with CO Ausuka's quirks for this to be an exciting and valid blitzkrieg, CO insomnia.

One of Smol Might's heads literally participated in an event within 24 hours of getting put into prod range, it's not like both heads are just MIA. One of them was paying enough attention to play in an event.

You're taking something that might look a little weird on the surface (basing a read on ToS [Town of Salem?]) without really explaining what makes this more likely to come from scum than town. The differentiator is that Bugspray's thread presence is asymmetric to your statements that he is forming his own reads and actually...trying. Sure, the JunkoChan head of Despair Night hasn't done anything, but Insomnia's not trying to pretend that JC has reads they're not presenting in the thread.

I think scum are more likely to be self-conscious about this and feel the need to cover for their hydra partner.

Tbh this isn't really even the crux of the read, I'm more concerned with your other head's scummy posting style and your doing what I perceive the bare minimum to seem contributional.
