Exodia the Forbidden One


When this role is rolled, it is announced the beginning of D1 that the game is taking place in the Shadow Realm. In the Shadow Realm, when someone dies by a role's active ability, their killer gets their soul. When anyone collects at least three souls, the person with the souls wins, and everyone else loses, regardless of anyone's win conditions.

When someone is lynched you gain their obtained souls (but not their own soul), if any. When you are attacked, you are night immune as long as you have at least one soul, and you lose all your souls to protect yourself. The only way you can win is by collecting three souls. If you are attacked or the night ends when it is night three or greater, you gain a day vig shot. Just like any other killing abilities, you gain your victim's soul (but not their obtained souls).

If you die, the game leaves the shadow realm, all souls that are still in the game are converted to day vig shots, and the people those souls originally belonged to will be revived.

This role cannot be rerolled or removed from the rolelist after it is rolled.

Each night, you may choose to retrain one of your Mafia comrades into a Mafia version of any other possible role of your choosing in this Grand Idea Mafia. Your comrade will be roleblocked while being taught. You may select yourself (obviously you won't roleblock yourself while retraining yourself).

Entity X


X is the total amount of players the game started with divided by 5.

You have X life phases, and in each life phase you have X kills. You may use as many kills as you want at a time per life phase, but you may only kill at night. Once you run out of kills, you will enter the next life phase. In your final phase, your attacks will become unstoppable and kill anyone.

If you die while you still have a phase/phases left, you will survive and instead enter the next phase prematurely, losing all kills you still had in the last phase.

You cannot be killed by normal day or night attacks.

You have the win conditions of a standard Serial Killer.

Mafia/Werewolf Time Warper


You are either aligned with the Mafia or the Werewolves.

Each night, you may perform a time warp at someone's house. Every action that was performed at that player's location the previous night will be performed again. If any investigative/result receiving abilities were performed there, you will know the results. If the actions performed there the previous night would've killed you, you'll be notified of this, but survive.

Mafia Duel Hoster


You are aligned with the Mafia.

At any point during the day, you may PM the moderator to force any voting player to participate in a duel against the player they were voting for at the time of the PM. If they are voting for multiple players, you must specify which player you wish them to duel against.

Once the duel starts, the duelists will be unable to vote and the rest of the town may only vote for one of the two duelists until the duel is over. The duel ends when majority vote is reached, upon which the losing duelist dies. The day will then continue as normal.

Mafia Nightmare Maker


You are aligned with the Mafia.

Each night, you may select someone to permanently give them nightmares about another player for the rest of the game. Your target will not be aware of their secret fear. If your target attempts to visit or perform an action other than voting on the player they have nightmares about, they will crumble in fear and be roleblocked, not understanding why. This effect will persist even after you die.

You do have the option to manually remove a player's nightmares, this can be done at any time and is counted as a bonus action.

You are a Miller, so you will show up as a Mafia Goon to cops and other Town investigating roles. You will flip as a Mafia Goon upon being lynched or killed during the day, but not when killed at night.

Town Constrictor


You are aligned with the Town.

Each night, you may constrict a player. If they are not aligned with the Town they will be notified of this, but if they are Town the marking will be silent.

If a constricted player ever visits another constricted player, all constricted players at the time of the visit will die from constriction, and you will lose the ability to constrict anyone else.

You may spend a night constricting yourself. You cannot be killed by your own constrictions, but you may trigger death by constriction for all other players by visiting one of your previous targets.

During the day, you may PM the moderator with a person and a single question related to the game (no Truth or Dare bull). The player you chose will be forced to provide a truthful answer to the question by the end of that night, or else they will die. You will learn the answer at daybreak.

When answering questions pertaining to the future (EX: Will you visit X tomorrow night?), players must keep their word or die.

Questions will be judged as allowed or not at the moderator's discretion.

You're not like the other slivers.

At the beginning of the game, you will learn the names of every other sliver. The other slivers will know you exist, but not who you are.
As a sliver, you have the abilities of every other sliver in the game. You also have a unique ability not shared by the other slivers: a night kill, which you gain 1 and 1/3 charges of every odd night.

You win if all other slivers are dead.

Mod notes: After the setup is rolled, randomly add "Sliver" to players' roles until one third of the player list is a Sliver, rounded down. Replace their ablities with "All slivers have [ability]". Reword as necessary to suit different roles.

During the day, you may choose two players. These players will be put into a fighting ring at night, wherein the loser is roleblocked and the winner gets to perform their ability. You will be notified who wins.

The winner is decided by Survivors>Serial Killers/Lone Neutrals>Aliens>Mafia/Werewolves>Other Neutrals>Town PRs>Vanilla Townies.

In case of a tie the winner is randomized.

As a night action or at any point during the day, you may tell the moderator you wish to fake your own death. The town will see a role flip and cause of death of your choosing. Although you will be listed as dead on all player lists and vote counts, and referred to as dead by the moderator, you will actually still be alive. You may still perform abilities and be acted against, and you may still talk in chats. Votes against you will not be acknowledged by the moderator unless you are actually lynched. You can reveal yourself in the thread at any time by voting or posting.

You may do this as many times as you like.

At night you can target two players to silently swap their first targets. EX: Jerry the cop checks Mary and Tormund the bus driver drives Roger and Faraday. You swap Jerry and Tormund's targets. Jerry instead checks Roger and Tormund drives Mary and Faraday.

During each day and night, you may transform into any role previously posted in the Grand Idea Mafia thread, which you will become the following night or day. You will always be a town version of whatever role you chose. You can only use each individual role post once.

The mod can restrict this ability at their discretion so you don't pick anti-fun or game breaking roles.

Mod Ambiguity Role


Your alignment is decided by the mod.
You have one or more abilities, decided on by the mod. How many different abilities you have, how many shots of each you have, and whether they're night/day abilities are decided by the mod.
You also have at least one extra passive attribute, decided on by the mod.
The mod can also decide if you know what these abilities/passives are, to varying degrees at their discretion.

In addition to all this, you can select one person as a bonus ability each night, if that person is not worthy they will die, if they are worthy they will learn you are the Mod Ambiguity Role. What defines someone as not worthy or worthy is something decided on by the mod. Whether or not you know what it is, is also decided on by the mod.

If there are any anti-ambiguity roles, you will ignore them and convert them into this role.

If you die, the famine will begin, and in 3 nights everyone but those with bread will die.

Mafia The Mole


Each night everyone in the game must take a quiz on various actions/facts/trivia than can apply to different players in the game, they must select which actions/facts apply to The Mole (you). The lowest scorer will die, in case of a tie the slower player to submit gets a point subtracted from their score. During the day you must set one action that you dare a player to do (EX: Hammer Jim or John), this will be publicly announced by the moderator. Whoever does it or does it first wins an exemption and becomes immune to dying from the quiz that night.

You cannot be vanillaized or roleblocked.
