I don't at all approve of policy lynching people for being good at scum btw: I took a long time to learn to read LLD. The only time I mislynched her was because she refused to post or talk to me, hard townread her in our one town game, got her quicklynched in TM. Someone should actually take the time to learn to read me, but I suppose that's never gonna happen.

Ventriloquist's post seem more like they care about keeping suspicion off themself instead of scumhunting and in a way that feels like scum that thinks it can reason itself out of being scumread.

Ok, maybe. I could see this line of reasoning. I personally didn't get that when I read his ISO. I'll re-review I guess. I'm trying to figure out why people are so gung ho about this wagon. Like, is it something you'd need to look really deeply to find? Because.. nothing stood out to me the way it apparently is for you and Ouro.

For me, I've seen scum trying to directly engage with the person scumreading them and try to discredit the validity of the read or try to reason their way out of it. My memory might be a bit hazy example that came to my mind reading Vent's posts was SerraPaladin's posts in the 2016 Team Trap Mafia where he said the player who was scumreading them was doing it for reasons other than the content of their posts. I know Vent's not making that same exact argument but the nature of their defense feels like it comes from that same kind of mindset.

Wrt to my Ank vote, I've seen more content from them as both alignments tbh. It's been a while since I've played with them iirc, but how they're approaching this game doesn't sit right with me and the lack of any explanations makes it harder to actually solidify the read. I'll admit it's a read subject to change but if I have to strongarm some content from them I will.

Vent's tone towards RC was one that was scum attempting to discredit a Townie's read on them. If this were scum theater I would think Vent would have played up the distancing a bit more. If RC were scum, this was either coordinated in the scum PT or RC bussed him unexpectedly. For the former I think Vent plays up the distancing a bit more than he does, and in the case of the latter the initial tone just doesn't match. The distancing probably would have come sooner in the latter case, born from natural frustration which eventually does show up in his posts. I don't think the way Vent tried to talk his way out of RC scumreading him is a SvS interaction ever; it requires Vent to have perfectly manufactured his earlier tone towards RC while also getting frustrated later on. The former requires coordination between RC and vent while the latter suggests RC bussing Vent on a whim and it can't be both.

Here's how it works, until I undo it if:
1. Impossibear is lynched with Ouroboros being on the wagon.
2. Impossibear is Night killed by Ouroboros
3. Impossibear is Night killed by the Insitute and Ouroboros is part of the Insititute.
Ouroboros dies too.

Regardless of whether i undo it or not, i can only do this once, so yeah.

Either you're both town, or you (RC) are scum, in either case it's a win scenario, if you're not scum, well ETL isnt scum either unless she gets confirmed scum then yes i accept my mistake, if you're both town it's not like you're lovers so nothing should change for you two, but i dont believe your godfather theory for a second. If you're scum you have to sacrifice yourself to get rid of ETL, sounds like a fair trade for a less toxic game state.

Like the reason you can't read me scum me at all is the same reason why most people can't read scum me at all: you don't understand my motivations as either town or scum whatsoever.
The explanation for why Ramcius who is town has to be wagoned over Wilky remains BS, if a quickhammer goes down it should be treated as a guilty on Impossibear as well.

You think that I think like you do but I don't and until you stop trying to fit my actions into your worldview and start trying to fit my actions into my own you'll never go anywhere.
I'm serious: start caring about the way I feel. Start thinking about who I am that certain progressions in the game upset me, what my trigger points are, what pushes me to act.
My play being so ruled by emotionality makes me hard to predict from a rational lens but if you actually figure out how I should

feel

at different points in the game you'll get a lot more mileage.
The only tells I have that I think I would have an uphill battle trying to change are the specifics of the emotional reactions that I have because I can't always be exactly in that town mindset and fake it exactly.
I get away with a lot due to non-Postie people not being able to understand what my reaction actually should be. If you want a chance against my scumgame, this is how.
Not deciding to policy scumread based off of stuff that's not even on the same axis as whether I'm town or scum (and is easily faked.)

ETL and Jingle have provoked me to a ridiculous extent this game saying horrible things to me and I hit my breaking point. I think it's actually kind of disgusting on a broader scale that people are victim blaming me instead of telling them to replace for how horrible they've been to me but I intend to take that little point up with people in postgame because I understand that there's a huge empathy gap as long as you don't know I'm town.

You guys didn't tell ETL and Jingle to stop because I wasn't responding to it in kind so it was a lot easier to tolerate when it's just one person being fucking awful to another person.
