Ahh .. so I was right about Mala crumbing but not right about the exact role / alignment.

@Toog - yes I'm suggesting you vote Menno, or at least asking if you would consider lynching Menno.

I mean if NDS is scum it gives townpoints to chara but don't expect me to throw away my entire read on the slot just like that. I don't think NDS flips scum.

So that's 3 claimed 3p... we can't keep all of them alive forever unless we lynch scum like every day because scum have a better chance of shooting down all the town now.

Does this has anything to do with RC replacing out? I think Chara is probably town by play but moreso because of RC AtE on subbing out. I disagree that there’s anything AI based on his arguing with Tora.

good enough to make that claim as scum and pull it off. And as town. Cerb and I spent some time talking about it already and ultimately we feel like that slot is just going to resolve itself within a couple phases. If it doesn't, then it has to eat rope for all the reasons already stated.

To Drixx: Thanks for the praise and semi-threat in the same paragraph. Always makes my heart tingle with joy. I'll be sure to "resolve" everything for everyone when the right time comes.

It's not a threat my friend. It's just the reality of the situation. We gotta play to our wincons. Help keep us so far ahead of scum that we need not worry about you taking a win with scum and there's no reason to worry too much about you.

But ... there comes a time where we are gonna have to rope you ... just the way it is. Didn't say I was happy about it. I'm a fan of new ideas with 3p/neutral characters and making them more deep and interesting. We'll see I guess.

I don't see how getting 3p players to mass claim is beneficial at this stage. I think we just continue to assess claims based on previous actions and feasibility. I do think we just lynch the next player if they aren't town though.

You do not have a right ot lead any wagons until 1) your partner explicitly confirms the masonry, and 2) one of you flips as town mason.

I'm claiming pretty much the opposite. I'm allowed to be useless-ish because my role will sort itself when my partner decides to out themselves. I'm a lower priority sorting target than anyone but Chickadee at this point, because given my claim I'm gonna get shot sooner rather than later.

Not saying I'm gonna be full on useless, but that I'm more interested in what people come up with than whether they'll sheep me atm.

I can explain why getting 3p claims is useful, but I really don’t see a need, at the moment. If anyone claims 3p after this day phase, they are scum and they will be lynched.

You guys realize that Malakitty will never be night killed unless we have a town vigilante do it, right? She's scum who works better with Mafia than he does with Town. She also directly opposes our town wincon, so she needs to be lynched at some point for us to even win the game, nothing like Elsa's wincon. She has no positive town utility, like Doctor. She's been extremely weak on activity, and has made no promise to pick it up. Why even entertain keeping her alive?

Should we just mass claim at this point and pick the worst power among us to lynch? We've had 2 ridiculous claims so far, what are we even waiting for at this stage?

i don't think the arguments for keeping Mala alive are good. she isn't town, she can't stop town deaths, and scum aren't going to care if they kill a townie that would also kill Mala or not.
she also has BP so we can't vig her.

I never said I've believed Elsa's claim. In fact quite the opposite. Mob mentality was to keep him alive for the positive utility and activity, and the fact that they can at least win with us. Your claim offers absolutely none of that, and your wincon directly counters ours. RR's solution is that scum shoots Mal at night and eliminates you as a problem all together, but Mal could be (and likely is) Bulletproof or may never get shot.

You also expect US to take your claim at face value as well, and you could just simply be mafia or worse 3p scum than lyncher.

Mala living encourages scum to shoot in the PoE pool because none of our claims make sense as mal and killing two people not of their faction is better than one. Also, if we get super ahead we can just lynch mal to give her the mutual win towards the endgame.

Also lyncher for mal is totally scarlet, not the operative.

why would we ever lynch Mal on purpose just to give Mala her win?
like i'm all for fun and fair play but playing to one's wincon is a thing. there is never a time i'm wasting a mislynch to get a 3p their win, unless we have mod-confirmed scum numbers and a guilty on the last scum.

and thinking that scum would purposely shoot in our PoE instead of in players they can't mislynch just for a bonus kill on a 3p that isn't a threat to them is just a really weird way to think abouy the nightkill.
