probs won't happen till like later today or tomorrow maybe

OK, so where does this place X on my list of reads on 8 slots in the game when I have 5 (other than myself) that I do want to make it to the coalition?

"Oh yes, my brother. I love thinking about that."

because you're not giving the game your full attention?
(i'm assuming you're busy/at work.)
Almost: uh. hm. some mental gymnastics here. i would say in the bottom 3?

i mean i think this is a fair approach; i play scum by getting townread and pocketing the right people;
i don't know if my scumgame is *that* good (like i feel ike people think i'm stronger scum than i acutally am + i don't know how much i can replicate what i did now that people know what to expect) but i'm good at projecting town so like i understand why people are paranoid of me in this setup

Why do you think I'm doing this?
that sort of rhetorical technique makes me think you're trying to make people look scummy, making it easier to get other people to scumread them (and thus ultimately get mislynched and in this setup in particular not be in the coalition)
as scum i'm pretty bad at actually pushing through mislynches, i mostly get by by doing the thing you're describing.
and that's why i understand the paranoia. kind of disappointed that i still have the problem of being overly sensitive to players scumreading me as town, (even more ridiculous here because i'm still being townread!) because while i logically understand it, it still worries me.

See? Wasn't too hard to deduce, was it? Now check 579 and see if no lunch's response makes much sense to you.
i'm pretty sure no lunch is asking why you aren't townreading her/finding her recent posts towny. he confirms that later more explicitly.

Do you think this is how I approach this tactic as scum? Question people aggressively and put them on edge (the "nil charisma" approach, if you will) so that I become completely dislikable day one...?
This is my first game on this account. I was intrigued to experiment with heavily questioning players, but I doubt this is a playstyle which I would pursue had I rolled scum on a fresh account. Most likely I would have opted for something neutral. This is more of a stream of consciousness tbqh, just interested to see how many dots you're connecting in your scumread of me.

I have played splattering of chat mafia, face-to-face and Town of Salem.
This playstyle is experimental for me.
Why is that?
how new you are to it would affect how i read you.

Almost50 speaking through other players makes me inclined to think he is using a pseudo mob mentality to discredit me.
If anybody believes my read on him is wrong (himself included), I would very much like to be shown why this is town indicative.

Certainly.
Specifically, is anything on your mind?
For example, I am experienced enough to be aware of how this style is perceived by others and the benefits v. disadvantages of it. I am not experienced enough to transition seamlessly into this playstyle.
bah i've gotten to the point where i'm nearly townreading the whole list again. and i doubt the team is Eek/Sky.
going to try not to post for a bit.
pedit: i could try my hand at explaining town Almost later. maybe?
as for the read on you: i'm not sure. i need to think about it.
