I forgot how spammy these games get from the word go.

Anyways so far I have a scum read on RR and cherkteeky.
RR typically cerb is the wise and much more thoughtful of the hydra. His random vote and rational for his vote comes across as fake.
Cheekteeky looks like surface scum hunting. Basically asking questions that give nothing and read as oh I'm going to ask this because i can, not because i want a response.

VOTE: RR
On page 7 and still reading through. I think Farside is Town for this post. Seems like the kind of post meant to get the game serious and out of RVS.

But why would Almost let a completely new person into a game?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It probably has to do with RR. I’m dating the half of RR that isn’t married.

So hello!

I was still in RVS because I had just started reading the thread. I can't help it you got a 7 hour head start on me and used up your RVS mentality before I had a chance to even dip my toes in.
Also, when did I lie about meta? I said you voted heb
as
scum because it was the first post that came across as scummy to me. I never mentioned anything about meta. I don't where you pulled that from.

Your wording... "you did x as scum" implies that you saw them do x previously in a game where they were scum.
I read it as you did what you did (your action in this game) as scum.

If I were to say "you did what you did and thought you would get away with it", it would be the same thing.
That’s how I saw it as well. I don’t see any meta claim from the fishy.

Anyway I'll be fine, just have had a really painful cough and infection.
I dunno why people think I'm town based on what I've posted so far especially in light of BoR which was a setup with TONS OF KILLS where I intentionally kept a low profile to try to duck shots.
DrewVa--what makes me inactive garbage play here town compared to my inactive garbage play in BoR?
Also yeah I truly did forget
and screw up how desperado worked
like 4 times publicly in that setup so I should be ashamed of myself because it wasn't even a rhetorical ploy it was just me loud-derping.

This is disappointing Varsoon, and your shame is warranted. I still love you, but yeah.

So, can someone tell me why people actually trying to play the game makes them more likely to be town than scum, in an objective way where(like Alchemist21 with Farside, and with whoever liked our slot for the same thing) just the fact that they did it gives them town credit? It feels like something that's super meta based...not everyone who plays scum tries to let town fumble around for as long as possible before getting into the game, and assuming that moving the game out of RVS is a town thing to do is essentially assuming that all scum play that way.

-Cerb

pedit: Also yeah, dude, doctor plz k?
Basically what Varsoon said. I think scum are less likely to stick their neck out early on and avoid drawing attention to themselves.

@Tails we have to talk sweetie. I would say profii is more likely scum for his list than town. Not because of the content (well that's something too) but because of the intention: big big game, scary game, you want to be active or seem to be 'cause lurking as scum is good strat and people could hunt you down for staying out of focus while someone else steals the show. profii said it himself. So let's say profii is scum and it's scared of a huge list of players who seems to know each other and know what they are doing. The best way to look busy is to create an early readlist and EXPLICITLY SAY "I'll reply to anyone who ask me about my reads" or something like that. So: profii doesn't create any content 'cause that's too risky. Instead, he waits for the rest to create content for him; if you ask, confront or agree with profii about one of his reads, you will give him the chance to look busy by replying whatever you say. That's the best way to stay engaged when engaging looks scary.

BuJaber and RR, followed closely by the blowfish, are my townreads so far.
I can see where you’re coming from with the Profi thing but Townies withhold reads and reasons more often than you’d think, at least on this site. I wouldn’t scumread someone based on that alone.

Why is the Fish Town to you?

Alchemist you said that your post explained your naked vote on Fish but that post seems to be talking more about Drewva than fish. Can you elaborate on your reads on both Fish and Drewva?

Amzela - what is your read on RR currently? I think you've implied you think they are town. Do you have reads on anyone, particularly those that have been pushing you?

Consider my list a bookmark until I can get more done.
No that post is definitely talking about Fish buddying up to Pint. The wagon could have been on anyone and it would still look the same.

DrewVa I’m null on. Seemed to me that the main reason Nancy got scumread was because of how she reacted to her wagon and then got mad when people questioned if her rage was genuine. I’m not disputing the idea that she could fake emotion as scum but on the other hand emotional people tend to get even more emotional when their feelings are doubted so I don’t see how the rage is something that can’t come from Town.

Tell us why your play is so different here then in the game I linked?

You were blatantly obvtown in that one.

You especially need to explain it to Wisdom, how can’t understand meta reads if his life depended on it.
I already explained this but 1) that game had a whole bunch of Torontomeet people in it originally and I wanted to play with them 2) my play isn't "so different" after they all replaced out 3) 1-game meta arguments are garbage
I just re-ISO’d your game and 2) is patently false. You’re obvtown game didn’t deteriorate at all, it remained consistent. 3) Completely disagree.

Fun fact: Scum!Varsoon said pretty much the exact same thing in BoD, wrt meta. I should have seen that for the scumtell it was.
What are you considering obvTown for him? I was in that game with him and he did drop off after the OG playerlist was gone (but I was also scum and not really paying attention to Towntells).

Its a little dated but @ one point in time active Creature=town Creature and Creature WAS being a useless lursack. So it makes plenty of sense to me that Chick would push on something that she thinks she has right.

I feel like this "inconsistency" he's pushing is him saying Creature should be treated like this and she's not treating him like I would.

As for her not instantly unvoting Creature when he started spam posting, I sort of feel like scum her would try to avoid such an obvious inconsistency that she'd undoubtedly get called on.
Maybe, but with enough time and pages maybe she forgot how strongly she worded that Creature scumread or thought nobody else would remember. It could also be the result of her not wanting to give up a safe vote if she felt it was the only one she had.

Do we really need policy lynched in a game with so many killing roles that there had to be a limit on how many can die at once?

Eh, maybe not. I just dislike having players like those in lylo.

However, we have no idea if they are town kills or not. If they are not, than yeah policy lynches day one are still fine.
The way the rules are set out implies Town and scum get killing powers.

I wonder... what are the odds BEF is actually an active x-shot PGO and softed an investigative role to draw scum then used his ability to kil them?

Doesn’t account for all the Janitor stuff but that’s probably someone with a global role like Toog’s global Doc.

There is nothing in my role pm that explains why heb flipped VT with a guilty.
My N2 action brought about a No Result and again I can't explain why.
I am reluctant to say who I targeted because my results from the Nights can not be confirmed (even a No Result) after the Heb flip.
Explain your role, or are you claiming a simple Cop role?

Ok screw it. I didn’t want to claim like this but since people are still giving Benefit of the Doubt here...

I Tracked BEF N1 and saw he visited nobody. That’s how I knew the guilty was fake. I Tracked Cheeky N2, which you can see in that flavor hint, and she visited BEF which is why I speculated BEF having a PGO role.

He’s not backing down from his bullshit so I’m calling it out.

My result explicitly said that my target didn’t leave their home. Now you called guilty on a player and I knew you didn’t have one and that person flipped Town. From what I can see you’ve just been lying the whole time and this “everyone on my wagon will die” claim sounds like more bs to scare us outta lynching you.

This is about the only slot I don't need to check back to see what role they got all game. It was a 1/26 shot, and you still did it!

You are the mighty "Sylvester Stallone" himself (i.e. Not a character in a movie), and as such you can only be an
Actor
, right? This means you are quite the inverse of a Priest.
You can only vote if your vote is the HAMMER. Otherwise; you shall be modkilled.

HOWEVER; Stallone is also a director, so maybe you should have a say on how matters go? OK, you also have a
1-Shot Global Doctor
ability (after all, Mr Stallone was the Director of "Stayin' Alive" in 1983). You can activate this ability at any chosen night, and it will give each and every player a "normal" Doctor protection on that night. (Doctors can only save from one NK, and cannot stop strongman kills.)

To be clear: You are NOT a "Hammerer", so you are
not obliged
to lay the hammer. However, that is the only time you are allowed to vote at all.

Since you are still aligned with the town; your win con is to eliminate all evil to get your win. GOOD LUCK.

P.S. I'm -of course- referring to the 1-shot Global Doctor bit.
I went back and looked at the global doctor thing, and after reading his role pm again, I am thinking that perhaps toog was the only one who could hammer me. This is a theory but it would at least fit with the flavor.
So the only one who could hammer you safely is already dead? Just stop with this lying already.
