It looks like at least 4 people would appreciate an extension, how about Monday at 2pm UTC. The Americas will be just be waking up, Africa/Europe will be at work and Oceania will be getting ready for sleep. I'll put the new deadline in the next vote count in a second. The failure mode of clever is asshole.

Hey guys! Back from the poster presentation. It went well!
Back to this game.
@teacher: so your order of lynching is overkill/me/snow/thespio. Pardon me for being self-interested, but why am I right after overkill? Your case and RCE's case was on snow first, and you made the case for an overkill/snow team. I'm not too sure why I would be next after overkill.
As for your post 285 and RCE's post 286 - In retrospect I didn't have any idea of what RCE's case was (and in fact what I noted about snow's post was different from what RCE noted - I noted that snow's posts were unusually short, while RCE just said they were awkward), but I took a look at snow's post on page 1 and I immediately noticed how short it was compared to other people's answers, so I assumed that it was what RCE was onto.
As well, for your post 294, why are you okay with thespio's response ("I might ")? Does that really answer your question?
On Thespio:
It can't be said that Thespio isn't combative. I don't think I've seen anyone here push as hard as he has when he was going after RCE's ass, and I kind of admire the flamboyant attitude that this kind of pressure takes, even if his posts end up scummy. And someone (skitter? Roo? RCE?) said something about Thespio's town meta aligning with what he is doing right now, which is being combative and lynchable day one, especially with his vote-and-push pressure tactic. (Question for the IC/SEs: It's okay to trust that someone talking about someone else's meta is always telling the truth right? Since that's supposed to be public record and all.) I think he gets full marks for vigorous scumhunting, and I figured he would be best left to be read as a very active townie.
However:
1. I'm not sure if anyone noticed/pointed this out, but Thespio never answered teacher's 4 questions. Even skitter, who joined after two replacements, managed to answer the questions; I'm pretty sure Thespio is the only one who didn't, and he was here since the beginning of the game. I thought it was worth mentioning, and I'm hoping that@teacheror@RCEcan give their opinions on this (as they are the ones who used this tool in the beginning).
2. As teacher pointed out, Thespio has not gone full frontal on his tail end like he did with RCE, even though he stated that he was still iffy on teacher right after he stopped pressuring RCE. I personally would probably run out of motivation to do such a thing after hounding one person, and RCE warned him that his posts looked scummy, so not immediately going to teacher isn't suspicious, but Thespio hasn't gone after teacher for a while now, while maintaining his suspicions.
3. His pressure on RCE was vigorous, but I'm surprised he stopped simply because RCE refused to change his story. There is a point at which pressuring someone who sticks to their guns without any new evidence is pretty much pointless, so this isn't that big of a scum point against him.
All in all, I'm not convinced that thespio has a strong scum scent, but I can see how it might be true, and there's (circumstantial) evidence there. With the deadline looming (on Monday rather than Saturday, thank you Plotinus), I agree with skitter's idea to start a wagon that will hopefully be productive in obtaining more information before we go for the D1 lynch. It's the weekend, but I'm hoping we can get this one going.
VOTE: Thespio
Sorry Thespio, but as the man with the most vigorous pressuring style, I hope you can understand.
And @someone who a long time ago asked what I meant when I was talking about another set of questions like teacher's questions in the beginning: Since teacher and RCE used the set of 4 questions that almost everybody answered as content to move us out of RvS stage, and since at that point when I posted I thought that we were arguing over the same old pieces of information again and again, I figured that if somebody else had something similar, we could get fresh new content to get reads and cases off of. Right now I don't think it's really necessary, given that the thread is lively and not at all stale, but I still think it would be useful in the future if discussions come to a halt for any reason.-

Congrats crumbs! Im running out the door (or at least about to wake my kids up to do so), but you are second on my list largely for the same reason 0verki11 is first - just not seeing alot of pro-town in the ISO, and seeing a general blandness on many slots that scum want to preserve flexibility for future days. Even now I cant tell your thoughts on several slots.
W/r/t your question, My response to Thespio was mostly to encourage him to come mix it up after he meta'd me. I would find a 1v1 helpful in sorting him. I got scummy vibes from him-RCE, but I can definitely see town motivations for doing it.-

Cool, Thanks for the extension Plot. Overkill is probably the Lynch here, I don't have much to offer as a defense for him being town and J doubt anyone really does. Part of me wants to press the Thespio theory a little further but it can probably wait.
If I die in the night keep it in mind.
Teacher and Skitter threw a few questions my way that I will get to a little later, time is a little tight at the moment. Breadcrumb if we flipped overkill today and he turned out to be town who would you suspect to be scum?-

Hey to address this, I will not in any game answer filler questions like these, I dont find talking about experience helps town in any way, Ive generally seen it used to give scum a reason to ML D1 when there is low activity. In post 308, naturalbreadcrumbs wrote:1. Gonna be honest though, I see this as Pro Town, like strong protown. I can scrap with you if you want, there were scummy things I saw in the past, but because teacher proposed we extend time Im gonna town lean, it turns my initial fears. He pushed Overkill and if teacher was scum he could have pushed to end Overkill by EoD, If he was partnered with Overkill he could have pushed away from him and let the time stay short to keep it urgent or gone for a nk, which is actually better for scum d1 in my opinion due to the ratios. In post 298, teacher wrote:Any chance we can have a Monday deadline given Skitter's VLA and weekends generally? FWIW, that would make it eight days since all slots showed up. Thanks, and total understanding, either way.-

like it's public record but that doesn't mean they're representing it accurately
ok, and? does the fact that he didnt' answer the questions lead you to believe anything in particular about his alignment? In post 308, naturalbreadcrumbs wrote:1. why are you voting thespio and not, say, overkill, if you want to make a wagon happen before deadline? (ie i'm pointint out that overkill already has two votes on him rn, and thespio has just the one; it might be easier to get overkill to five votes because of this)
if you could maybe give your read on each player with like a sentence describing why i'd appreciate it-

Spoiler:
Here's my read on Teacher.
So what I noticed was that his entire first part of the ISO right up to post 143 is all about RCE / teacher apart from his two RVS posts. He launched right in about this. In 60 he says he has a hard time reading teaching positions as town as they can influence people. I find that more of an excuse than a reason. I think looking at 60 he almost certainly planned to push the IC or SE and this is him giving an excuse for it. That looks scummy to me as if so he is not scumhunting but playing to an agenda.
Second thing, in 148 everything changes. He goes from hard pushing RCE and teacher to backing off. This shows to me he wasn't scumhunting but pushing them for a scum agenda, i.e. he wasn't seriously scumreading them because he knew they weren't scum. I have a thought maybe the other scum player in this case could have told him to back off (maybe even RCE or teacher), but that can wait till day 2.
Next,
Apologies for the long delay, but RL just got very very busy. I might end replacing out... I'll hold out if I can.-

Anyway, in 165-200 he switched to overkill, and in fact posts intent to hammer. I'm not scum reading this for changing his mind but this feels a bit suspicious, since he just went from full blast RCE / teacher to hammering overkill in 4 posts. I also find it interesting that he says overkill or teacher are mutually exclusive. I find the tone of that post vaguely TMI.
I find 231 very wired, if overkill was a PR scum would just kill him tonight and he wouldn't be able to claim tomorrow. it reads a lot like or hunting, and now that he has found a PR he is willing to get back off (and thus get town credit).
On that topic I find his reads list suspicious. Notice that RCE is town and teacher is back towards neutral. See above.
And finally his thirding the motion to extend the day could be an attempt to gain towncred especially in light of 312.
All in all can anyone tell me if thespian is at l-1? If not I'm putting my vote there ASAP!-

Im not, I am curious though, if i kept pushing RCU and he kept insisting he was just reading town and it wasnt a scum play to pocket the IC or vice versa, who gains from that? IF he had changed i would have been all over it, The approach i take is due to my background in PF Cross Ex, which i did for the last 8 years. If i found a chinc in what was said i would have kept pushing, im curious, why did you back off overkill? Why did you stop SR him? this to me seems like opurtunism, your case is reliant on me having been actively pushing for info as a scummy move, you assume im scum going into it and arent evaluating me so much as looking for something to make me look scum. So again why did you back off OK?-

This is just too offputting, Crumbs is new, so ill write his sort of wierd reason for thinking im scum off to that, but Jones's reason doesnt address why hes leaving OverKill, doesnt actually make any sense in retrospect and leads me to believe the reason we havent had alot with him is because hes trying to glide by in the foreground.
Im still leaning towards OK, but this case leads to so many questions.-

Why did you shift off of Overkill?
Why is applying pressure scummy?
why is recognizing someone as town scummy?
Why did you have the same reads as me when i started applying pressure and then not apply any pressure?-

So your entire case is pre-overkill, but im scummier now? you didnt think it was scummy when i was questioning them then? but because i felt they are town after clashing that makes me scum to you? what made over kill less scummy or me more scummy? In post 323, LCpl Jones wrote:I don't know where you get that from because its not - its your utter reversal that is scummy

are you reading teacher as town or scum? Why are you in a different place? how did you get there with little to no activity, and no questions for teacher? are you reading RCU as town or scum? Just to let you know Im evaluating you based on 2 of your prior games, 1 scum, 1 town. Im curious to see how you compare.
