Chapter 6 - A heart broken

The rays of the dying sun bathed Misery's Crown in sanguine flames, and the disfigured
shadows of the villagers writhed on the walls, as if burning in agony. Burning were also their
hearts, mangled by hatred and twisted by malice. The torches in their hands burned, too,
like serpents ready to ignite the flesh of the unholy creature before them.

Persivul:

Before us stands Dunnstral. He, who came to us in our darkest hour to risk his life for our safety. He,
whom we thought of as a brother. He, who night after night has been viciously murdering our parents, wives,
husbands and children in secret and feasting on their bodies with the rest of his ilk. No more shall this... this
putrid creature plague our land with his filth!

The condemned Dunnstral solemnly stood with his head up, his ice-cold eyes devoid of
any fear, emotion or weakness. He did not plead for his life, nor tried to deny their words.

Dunnstral:

You are making a terrible mistake. Your rushed decisions will surely be your downfall. Now do what
you have to do, and remember me with kindness.

This conversation is over. Light the pyre, brothers!

The dried hay instantly burst into blazes that hungrily devoured the timber. Soon they
climbed onto Dunnstral's clothes and clang to his flesh as if it were paper. It was like nature
itself wanted him gone and fanned the flames. Once they ate through the ropes that tied
him to the stake, he reached into his robe and revealed a gun. Before he could aim it,
however, one stray flare licked the barrel and lit the powder up. As the gunshot cracked
the air and the bullet burst his heart, they all saw that Dunnstral died a mortal's death.

Chapter 7 - Silent night, unholy night

No sooner than the night had touched the sky with its tendrils than the anguish over the
wrongful death of Dunnstral soon gave way to panic. Courageous as they were when it
came to sacrificing their most precious, the militia were helpless against the unholy might
of the undead, who after dark reigned as lords. Separated, the villagers skittered away to
find a place to hide, as staying together would surely spell doom for all of them.

But one villager did not hurry to his hideout. Instead he set out for the pitiful Hallowcrest
chapel, or rather the diminutive shrine to a god long abandoned by his once faithful, for
their desperate prayers had remained unheard and unanswered. But Persivul did not pray
for deliverance. He prayed for guidance. And for vengeance.

The modest vial clenched in his fist started to glimmer, indicating that the water inside had
been consecrated. His one weapon against the walking dead. And he was intent on using
it — tonight.

Unfortunately, something else had found its way into the chapel, too. And it wasn't there
to pray. Persivul had already seen the shadow creeping up on the altar. He was ready.
The undead was as silent as its shadow, but the priest anticipated the moment it would
strike, its most vulnerable moment, and that was when he made his move. His fingers had
already uncorked the vial when he flung it back over his shoulder, spilling holy water all
over the would-be attacker. His other hand — the one with the dagger — followed suit,
launching a deadly manoeuvre where he twisted around and dug the blade deep into
the stranger, who was revealed to be...

Nothingness. Persivul gasped. There was no one there. The shadow was gone. Gone was
also the only weapon he had. That was when the undead struck, and its bony spike made
its way through the priest's throat.

1133 and 1138 I said multiple times because I wanted more time to think of a decent wagon rather than a compromise wagon

however I had to go with Dunnstral because apparently there was no deadline extension

Also considering Dunnstral was at L-1 and we had like 18 hours left, I deduced it was scum because scum would want to cut what the lynchee has to say, like it happened when Irre hammered me at Open 738 even though we had like 1-2 hours left and I was arriving home to say plenty of stuff.

The Leo/Dunn wagons are consistent with Mala being scum, Leo being her first counterwagon which wasn't gaining any traction, and then a quick wagon on Dunnstral. No one who voted Dunn was on Mala (with my exception)

I think the lynch today should be one of: rb/auro/dla

Reason being that rb in post 347 said the cop should investigate thor and auro. We now know there's a cop in the game after persivul died. BUT 347 doesnt necessarily come off as a scumslip that knows for sure that there's a cop in the game, which is why I didnt think much of it at the time (since I didnt know if there was even a cop in the game).

So either rb is scum that knew there is a cop. Or it was just a general "investigate these players" type post (cop usually being the go to role that gets used for example). Which is what I thought, but now we know theres actually a cop so idk.

Why I think auro and dla also have high chance of being scum is because they both pointed out that rb seems like he "knows" theres a cop in the game, which I repeat, I didnt think that was the case prior the cop getting night killed.

Mafia knows theres a cop in the game. So either rb slipped, or auro and dla tried to force it into a slip.

There might be others who pointed out the "rb seems to know theres a cop" but I have only ISOd dla and picked up this cop stuff.
