I'm undecided on what this means for BEF, I don't really see the motivation for a fakeclaim there as town, and I don't see what role there is that targeting someone else is also supposed to conf-town himself, or why he teehee forgets that Chara claimed ascetic, because that is absolutely what he's doing.
I think Persivul comes out of this scenario looking town, both for his pressure on BEF, which I think is pretty sound and town-motivated, and I had a more specific reason for that that I've forgotten and don't yet feel like going back to but hey. It was a big brain moment I had but I forgot to post it, maybe I'll go look for it now

comes to mind first. Ascetic means they cannot be targeted by a non-killing action and it doesn't matter whether that's a day or a night action. If you targeted Chara I will pursue your lynch regardless because Chara did claim the Ascetic modifier, so let's hope you targeted just about anyone else.

@Elbirn: I forgot that exchange even happened and that you were in the game. I really shouldn't play more than one game at a time, because I lose at of stuff between phases and it makes it hard to keep up.
BEF's situation resonates with me because I caught heat in the last few games I've been in for amplifying my claim when under pressure in order to push against a townie I felt was scum. I really don't see so much of the 'teehee' stuff that other people are saying, it's more of a "Wow I fucked up, I'm sorry, disregard me" stance.

@A50: In my games, if a player has a ONE SHOT or LIMITED SHOT ability and, by design, those shots are not 'uses' but shots, they get refunded upon failure, and so if I were to put something like 1-shot cop into a game, they'd be refunded if their ability failed due to something like a roleblock.
